25.01.2022 Alek and Matthew just spent 3 days doing recce in Tasmania. Alek got off to a slow start on the Saturday morning but we got a good flow going with the new pace notes by Sunday Afternoon. Monday was a dream!

23.01.2022 Targa Wrest Point 2011 Showroom 4WD Podium

21.01.2022 A big thank you to the Team Mitsubishi Ralliart guys for getting the car back on the road for the last day of racing. Being out of the running for a podium finish, the boys just took it easy and used it as training. Car still needs extensive repairs, but feeling lucky to be unharmed.

21.01.2022 4 sleeps left and then we are off to Tasmania. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.

17.01.2022 2nd in class after Day 0 (the prologue). Not bad considering it was a shaky start with a new navigator and the fact that the new brakes needed to be bedded in. Anyway, enough of the excuses, they were only 1 sec behind 1st place afterall!

16.01.2022 It's official, Matt Heskin has a new navigator for Targa Tasmania, Alek Velkovski! Alek is used to racing motorbikes around Phillip Island, but will take the passenger seat in April. His experience with precision driving compliments the professional outfit.

10.01.2022 Day 2 - a slow start meant that the boys lost a further 30 seconds to leader, Warren. However, they then found their groove and made up some time, winning 5 out of the 8 stages! At the close of Day 2, the boys have just 30 seconds to make up to Warren in 1st place. Bring on Day 3!!!

New navigator, Alek, is still getting used to the speed of which the notes need to be called, but he is feeling confident he will be able to deliver on day 2. All in all, they still managed to hold 2nd place behind Tassie local, Tony Warren. Theyve got 35 seconds to make up today....
