It’s a combination of two different recipes that I have tweaked to make it school and kid approved. ... As always if anyone knows of a recipe with less sugar etc I’m all ears! 02.01.2022 TRY THIS AT HOME Making school lunches for aria this morning. While I was chopping her apple I was reminded of a video I’d seen on Facebook of someone scraping the wax off the surface. I thought it won’t happen to this one but tried it anyway! See below pictures. These are two different apples from two different stores! Your fresh apples are not so fresh! We are already so wholefood deficient, it’s crap like this that makes it even harder to be healthy! These apples have cle...arly been picked well before they are ripe and are dipped in wax to prevent oxidisation so they still look great on shelves for ages. My fresh apples could be weeks even months old! Thank god my kids eat their chews daily. At least they are getting some goodness there rather than relying on actual fruits and vegetables!
