18.01.2022 An update has been made to the public activity restrictions. This new Direction comes into effect as of 12:01am Tuesday 1 December 2020. DENSITY REQUIREMENTS The following density requirements apply: ... Indoor Place (other than a private function)- 1 person per 4sqm Outdoor Place- 1 person per 2sqm People must use their best endeavours to implement physical distancing and remain 1.5m. Private functions include weddings, funerals, parties or any other function. Guests must use their best endeavours to remain segregated from other patrons at the premises. The maximum number of people permitted is 150 people and the density provision of 1 person per 2sqm applies regardless of whether the function is indoors or outdoors. Food and beverages must have no shared utensils but can be consumed while standing. Dancing is permitted. Fitness, recreation activities & sport can resume. Starting at the Hewett Centre join Mayor Bill and the library as we follow the Story Trail and read 'King of the Outback'' Written by Kristin Weidenbach and Illustrated by Timothy Ide'.... Along the trail we will collect interesting pieces of nature to complete a collage back at the Hewett Centre after the walk. For children of all ages

Please rest assure that we will be following these new rules, with a COVID-safety marshal on site assisting with monitoring social distancing and that members & guests are following health & safety processes. No changes will be made to our current operations and we are following all safety measures to keep you healthy in Centre. ... Please remember that health & hygiene remains important, we ask that you to please: Please keep 1.5 meters distance from other members and staff at all times. Sanitise your hands, using our sanitisation stations throughout the Centre. Minimise your time in centre - We encourage you to arrive as close as possible to your scheduled class, Family members are asked to wait outside where possible. Not only does Crafty Cooks cater for 100s of people at events Kerry and the team volunteered to help establish our inclusive cafe.

Today we thank you for all the times you were dragged behind a boat, thrown down a waterslide, ski slope, sat through endless dance perfomances and enjoyed home baked yummies.
