25.01.2022 With our last pick this morning before the heavens opened up, our fermenters stand ready, each with a dedicated pump and wine hoses to make the best possible wine from the grapes inside.... just like they do in the great houses of Bordeaux. And with Fermenter 15 filled soon our house will be full and over the next 3 weeks those grapes inside will become great wine.

10.01.2022 Checking out our old Frontignac (Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains), an ancient Greek variety now with a French name, planted somewhere between 1850 and 1880 by Silesian immigrants 'they've always been there'. This is on our Bultawilta ground... means 'fearless, bold and brave' ... that seems to suit. We'll be wheeling out the old basket press we bought 22 years ago, handmade here by an Italian immigrant in 1946 soon after landing. Picking next week. Stay tuned. #globalculture #wannahavefun
