Curse you Covid!) the mother of Hey Blondie is approximately 8 weeks away from being a mother of a whole new kind ! How incredible does she look we cannot wait to meet our newest team member ! 17.01.2022 Yes, you heard right; WE ARE ALLOWED TO OPEN AGAIN! HOWEVER; as we have not been able to attend the salon for the last 3 months, we will need this week to go in and sterilise, to call through out priority list and to make sure we have a solid COVID-safe opening plan! We will be starting to make these calls this Tuesday 20th October. We will be open for appointments from Monday 26th October and we will still be working less days per stylist with one on one appointments, to m...aintain COVID-safe standards. PLEASE REMEMBER; we will be calling through our priority list of cancelled appointments FIRST and foremost. Those who had appointments first cancelled when we closed up in July will be called first and then we will move through the weeks in consecutive order. If you have messaged us over the closed period to go on our waiting list, you WILL be contacted after we have gotten through our cancelled appointments. We feel like this is the fairest and simplest way to re-book everyone! We know everyone will be dying to come in as soon as possible however we have a HUGE backlog of appointments to re book, we will be working on limited appointments and we simply cannot fit everyone in all at once. 10.01.2022 We have finally contacted all of our cancelled appointments from the last few months (if you had a cancelled appointment, please check your voicemails/missed calls as we’ve haven’t been able to catch some of you!) We will now be working through our list of existing clients who have requested appointments, then we can assess when we will be able to start taking new clients! Realistically, we may not be able to take new clients until the new year, however we will keep you upda...ted as we go. We know so many of you have left voicemails for us and we are slowly getting through these in between doing hair! Please remember, we are doing the best we can; if we could fit everyone of you in November, we would ! However our hands are tied by restrictions and we can only do what we can and we are trying to get everyone in as soon as we can manage! 09.01.2022 Hey Blondies and Gents. Yay it's time for everyone's favourite segment..Covid salon updates (hopefully the last until we reopen! ) As everyone is well aware of what's happening in Victoria, we are now in stage four restrictions which means sadly we will be closed longer than we wanted. But everything with Covid has been taken out of our hands and we've had to make difficult decisions for our safety and for yours. ... So, like everyone else, we'll be home for six weeks (pretty much hibernating Max-style ) praying we come out the other side to a better Covid normal and creating magic on the beautiful canvases that is your hair . To anyone that has had their appointment cancelled in the last few weeks and those who have appointments booked over the next 6 weeks; you have already been placed on our Priority list (yay!) and you WILL be contacted prior to our reopen date! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask; the best way to contact us will be through Facebook as we won’t be in salon to answer phone messages. We would like thank everyone for your patience and understanding, for your continuous loyalty and support. 08.01.2022 Oh look, another Covid-19 Update from Kevin (coz his face is how we all feel right now ) First of all, we would like to let everyone know that even with the new lockdown laws, we are STAYING OPEN this time ! YAY! We feel confident enough in our sanitisation practices that we feel we can keep trading whilst keeping everyone in our salon safe and healthy! We will be making a few changes though; - we will be back to having only 2 stylists on at one time, with 1 on 1 appointm...ents only! This does mean spaces will be limited for the next 6 weeks or so. This also means changed trading hours, we will be open MONDAY - FRIDAY, including 3 late nights for those needing appointments outside standard work times. - We MAY need to contact you to tweak your appointment day/time. Again, we will not be cancelling your appointment, just moving some things around to ensure the safety of everyone ! We know this may be an inconvenience for some however we are doing the best we possibly can to accomodate everyone ! - We will soon have a temperature gun and will be temperature checking everyone (including stylists) upon entrance to the salon. Masks will also be available if you would like to request one for your appointment. 01.01.2022 Hopefully this is one of the last information overload post we will have to put up! We have been spending this week getting through our MASSIVE amount of messages/booking requests and we’re getting to the end of it. Please check your voicemails, as we have been trying to get in contact with a few people! If you have sent us a message and we haven’t responded yet, please give us a call/Facebook message again as we have been so bombarded a few may have just slipped through... the cracks ! At this stage, November is almost fully booked (it’s November next week! Eeeeek!) we do have a few free appointments scattered about, and we will be taking December bookings next week. All voicemails left on our salon phone over the next few days will be returned this Monday 26th. We won’t be taking on new clients for the time being, but if you would like to be a new clients of ours, message us with your full name/number/the service you’d like and we’ll be in contact when our books open for newbies ! We couldn’t be more grateful for the understanding you have all shown us through this task; we never thought fitting 4 months of clients into 4 weeks would be something we’d have to do in our careers But we’re getting there and the patience you’ve all shown us has made this process that much easier so THANK YOU We cannot wait to finally see you all!! 01.01.2022 Only 5 weeks to go until we can make hair like this again We’ve had a lot of enquires about when we are likely to take appointments again; at this stage, we are not making appointments until we have a definite re-opening date, as per government guidelines. At this stage, we will be allowed to re-open as of October 26th, depending on cases etc. Once we know exactly when we are likely to re-open, we will be calling our priority list of clients to book you in! Please note;... we will be booking in our priority list first, working from the date we first closed onward, as we feel this is the fairest and best way to make sure everyone gets booked in! We will still have to work off social distancing rules, so appointments will be limited but we will do our absolute best to get everyone booked as soon as we are able to.
