23.01.2022 It’s Spinal Cord Injury Awareness week There’s many conditions as a result of spinal cord injury, here’s my story. After closure of my business due to COVID-19 for five months I had chronic pain and difficulty doing simple activities and movements. Four weeks ago I had emergency surgery for Cauda Equina Syndrome. Without having the surgery when I did, I would have lost the use of my leg and bowels, leaving me disabled. ... I’m very thankful that i was given a second chance because there are so many people who don’t get the opportunity. Reading some stories on here is heartbreaking and disability isn’t always visible so never judge on what you think you see. I’m on the road to recovery and will know down the track how my body will serve me. It’ll be amazing to pick up my children anytime I want and be there, able bodied for them again. I’m loving walking with Stu to the playground with the babies and the extra time I’ve had to spend with them. I have a new salon fit out which is exciting. New treatments I’ve had training in. I love doing my job, it’s my passion, I’ve been doing this since 2006 and I’m not going anywhere. I’ll open again when the building is done and do what I can without compromising myself or my high standards of my work. So many things to keep me positive, excited and incredibly thankful for. See you in person soon when I can put my magic hands on your face

11.01.2022 Saw a great post tonight and thought I would share how easy it is to get scammed when buying products online. Always buy from trusted sources as this happens with so many brands. Other than the appearance looking slightly off it smelt "like sunscreen" and who knows what nasties are lurking inside the formula.
