The government has increased the available amount to each eligible child back to $1000! 08.01.2022 Dental Care For You is delighted to announce that the Australian Government has chosen to continue its Child Dental Benefits Schedule. Information will be sent to eligible families in the mail. This means that eligible children/teenagers can access a capped benefit amount of $700 over a 2 year period from 2017. If the benefit commenced in 2016, the child/teenager may be eligible for a benefit of $1000. Either way, it means NO GAP dentistry for children and teenagers up to the benefit amount.
