24.01.2022 It’s great to make patients feel good about themselves,feel confident to smile and eat. In this case Dr Yana Stevens restored worn tooth structure with just a white filling material (composite )to see how well patient will be able to adapt to his new occlusion and he loved it . It might require later on proper crown placement but it might not. Composite build up was done freehanded ,took around 2hours with not tooth preparations at all,so very conservative. 24.01.2022 Thank you for your patience and understanding over the past weeks. As of next week, we will be able to offer you more of our services, while we continue to work under the restrictions. These services include examinations, simple fillings and extractions, denture and orthodontic treatment. Unfortunately, we cannot provide scale and cleans at the moment, but we will keep you all posted when those restrictions are lifted.... We ask you all to please phone the clinic if you required an appointment. When you arrive for your appointment please remain in your car and call us, and we will instruct you from there. Yes,you do as the bacteria enters our blood stream from the mouth during a clean and can cause heart problems in the recipient of the blood. So make sure next time you book you dental check up and clean,you allow 24 hours prior to donating blood .

The ENTSurgeon, The airway centric Orthodontist, The Myofunctional Therapist, the Sleep Physician, the GP etc Childhood OSA is always a team approach and checking the airway is always first priority irrespective of the age at diagnosis.

18.01.2022 Covid-19 Due to the unfortunate circumstances, appointments will only be available for essential dental treatment to protect the safety of patients and staff. These include tooth aches, broken teeth and planned fillings that will not last 4-6 months. Over the next few days we will be in contact with our patients that have non essential appointments booked to reschedule these for at least 6 months time.... 12.01.2022 Dear Farmers,please be careful around cows/bulls,also football/netball players (make sure you wear custom fitted mouthguard) We had to respond to fairly few emergencies this past few months due to traumas,this is one of them we would like to share. 10.01.2022 I might have posted it before but decided to repost it again.Its my biggest passion -kids,airway and sleep disorder breathing .So please have a read when you got free time . Did you know that dentists can help you with diagnosis and guide you in the direction to help your child to thrive ? This story is so close to my heart as my own son had been diagnosed with Sleep apnea and over time we managed to help him to get better. It wasnt one day treatment and wasnt just an ENT involvement ...but also Oral myologist Chelsea and Fiona from Lala were amazing plus expansion of his jaws to develop airways and our patience to keep him calm .
