11.01.2022 It is the pleasure of the Church and Nation Committee of Victoria to announce the third "Religion in the Public Square Colloquium" to be held at Assembly Hall at 156 Collins Street Melbourne on August 7-8, 2015. Our Keynote speaker is Dr. Scott B. Rae professor of Christian ethics at Tal...bot School of Theology at Biola University, USA. He is an excellent speaker and will broaden and stimulate your thinking on a range of topics including business, economics as well as various ethical issues. We also have Dr. David Van Gend and Campbell Markham speaking on same sex marriage. Elizabeth Kendall and Dr. Stuart Robinson on Islam. Dr. John McLean and Ben Saunders speaking on apologetics and law and our CaN Research Fleur Letcher will address the topic of why the State needs the Church. Darren Middleton will also begin each day with an encouraging exposition from Scripture to remind us that our God is sovereign, and his purposes sure.

09.01.2022 After 3 weeks of services, we have decided to suspend services for the time being due to the virus reaching our district. Hope to be back as soon as it's deemed safe for all. In the meantime practise all the necessary safety measures, and look up to the safest One of all. God bless.

03.01.2022 Next Sunday 14th Feb will be a combined service at Portland at 10.30 am. It will be Ian's last service here and there will be a farewell lunch after the service, beginning about noon. The Portland Brass Band is coming to play the music. All welcome.
