22.01.2022 Lot 33 Glen Coolfire ,on behalf of B Ramage. Coolfire placed third in the maiden at powlathanga draft with a 86&87 . A competitive gelding that would suit all levels of rider .

22.01.2022 Time to B Smart is only 2 and half and will grow into a lovely gelding. He is by Frogman Henry out of Gold Mine My Time ,all proven cowhorse bloodlines . Has had 6 weeks working cattle and shows plenty of potential. He’s very quite and has a good foundation on him $4000 .

20.01.2022 To all ACA Members >We have a problem with getting our nominations in at campdrafts. >I believe that we should have a run restriction for the rider titles of 12...0 first round runs which will give you 10 first round runs for 12 campdrafts. >Every first round start is counted. Once you get to 120 first round starts your rider points stop. Nothing stopping you from going to more drafts just no rider points. 20 first round runs for Open Horse. 20 first round runs for Novice Horse. 20 first round runs for Rookie Horse. 20 first round runs for the Ladies Draft. 20 first round runs for the Juvenile Draft. Plus what ever the ACA want to award at the finals. > I believe competitors won’t cart as many horses and waste first round runs. They will save their runs for the bigger drafts leaving the smaller drafts. Because they will get more points. That way they wouldn’t have to go to every draft there is to win a title. >The way the point system is set up today riders have to go to excess amounts of drafts. > I would like to see the title put on a level playing field for the average working person. > At the moment 5% of riders are able to compete and travel for the title. The other 95% are only paying membership. It is out of reach for them to compete for a title. > We need your discussion and opinions on what you think is a fair system to get more members into drafts. If the members don’t say anything nothing will be done. Please send to the ACA what you think is a good and fair system. >Please show your concern and share. Written by Les Stewart. See more
