25.01.2022 Today is a good day to tell someone what makes them so special. Make the world go round ... with love. Oh, and Happy Easter
24.01.2022 On the 11th day of the 11th month, at 11am ... remember our heroes. #forgottenheroes #anzacs #lestweforget #thankyou
22.01.2022 Have you ever thought about the "white noise" of smell? Just for today, smell as many things as you can and notice how it makes you feel. A smell rockets straight to your brain and triggers happy feelings, memories, danger ... so much more. So, two questions for you. What did your smells trigger? What are your happy smells?
20.01.2022 I can't not share this ...
19.01.2022 Worth a share. This is true, being ventilated and all the rest of it is just horrid. Very horrid. Whatever I believe, about masks, hoaxes, conspiracy theories or violation of rights .. I'm happy to wear multiple masks and do whatever it takes, if it means that I, or anyone else, doesn't have to go through that because of me.
18.01.2022 Go outside ... now
18.01.2022 Boundaries around your property are important - they help you to focus on your own ecosystem, and to keep out what will disturb it. Personal boundaries do the same thing.

15.01.2022 WOW WOW WOW! Copied from Leigh Campbell: If you like data and evidence based information this book is great . Having just finished my menopause health and psyc...hology training I’ve learned that Most drug trials are conducted on men which seems incredible when it affects women.. I’m reading a book called Doing Harm and in some cases I couldn’t actually believe what I was reading . It’s Exceptionally well researched and instantly recongnisable for many women accessing medical care especially regarding hormone health . Extraordinarily, this has always been the case for an untold number of other drugs, as even today women are typically often excluded from trials of the very drugs they will ultimately take. Antidepressants and anxiety meds in particular as well as HRT. This has created totally absurd situations. In the early Sixties, a trial to see if oestrogen supplements would protect postmenopausal women from heart disease enrolled 8,341 men and no women. No women that’s absurd ! Valium, that drug labelled 'mother's little helper', was never originally tested on women. But in a 2016 study in the Journal of Depression and Anxiety, Brazilian researchers revealed that the menstrual cycle may significantly alter Valium's effectiveness depending on the time of the month and may even render it useless. And before U.S. regulators agreed to license the controversial 'female Viagra' drug Addyi in 2015, they asked for a study to see if it was safe when taken with alcohol. The drug's sponsor conducted a test of 25 people 23 of whom were men. That was doubly absurd, because women are known to be more prone to the effects of alcohol, even when it's not mixed with a sex drug. It is not just treatments. One recent U.S. study of how obesity affected breast and uterine cancer enrolled not one woman. Totally bonkers!!! Researchers prefer males But Why are male bodies preferred? The basic reason is that women's monthly cycles cause hormonal fluctuations which can complicate the results of the clinical drug tests required before any new medicine is approved for use. Researchers and pharmaceutical companies prefer men's bodies, as they are far more straightforward. Moreover, women of childbearing age (and pregnant women) have traditionally been excluded from drug-safety trials for fear that foetuses may be harmed. Instead, drugs have gone on the market in what is effectively a giant random trial, in which hard evidence of harm to children may later emerge and perhaps not be taken seriously, or ignored or covered up. Eg Only recently with Jeremy Hunt has this been brought into public knowledge but has been known for a very longtime , the birth damage caused by sodium valproate. I know of one client who took this drug for seizures and all 3 children had learning and behavioural difficulties and was never warned about the drug. Women have been let down for so long regarding their health. Studies show babies born to mothers who have taken the drug during pregnancy have a 10 per cent chance of having a physical birth defect and a 40 per cent chance of having learning and developmental problems. Particularly aspergers , adhd and learning difficulties Tragically, sodium valproate is not an isolated case. The data can’t be ignored , even the kitchen or car you sit in is designed around a 6 ft male resulting in 47% more women dying in a car accident. This book entitled Doing Harm, says the bias against women in medical research is all-pervading. It starts at the most basic biomedical research, where investigators overwhelmingly use male cells and male animals in pre-clinical studies,' she writes. 'It continues throughout the clinical research process, where women remain under-represented, analysis of differences in response to drugs between genders is rare and women's differing hormonal states and cycles are usually ignored entirely.' Shocking .. not surprising but shocking ..
15.01.2022 Whether masks work or not (yes, I've seen all of the scientific studies that say they don't), do you REALLY want to take a chance? The following is copied and pasted. Will you do the same? If you see me wearing a mask in public and in the stores, I want you to know that...... I'm educated enough to know that I could be asymptomatic and still give you the virus. No, I don't "live in fear" of the virus; I just want to be part of the solution, not the problem. I don't feel like the "government controls me". I feel like I'm an adult contributing to security in our society and I want to teach others the same. If we could all live with the consideration of others in mind, the whole world would be a much better place. Wearing a mask doesn't make me weak, scared, stupid or even "controlled". It makes me caring. When you think about your appearance, discomfort, or other people's opinion of you, imagine a loved one - a child, father, mother, grandparent, aunt, uncle or even a stranger - placed on a ventilator, alone without you or any family member who is allowed at his bedside. Ask yourself if you could have helped them a little while wearing a mask. Be safe people

15.01.2022 Charlie Chaplin lived 88 years. He left us 4 statements: (1) Nothing is forever in this world, not even our problems. (2) I love walking in the rain because no ...one can see my tears. (3) The most lost day in life is the day we don't laugh. (4) Six best doctors in the world...: 1. The sun, 2. Rest, 3. Exercise, 4. Diet, 5. Self-respect 6. Friends. Stick to them at all stages of your life and enjoy a healthy life... If you see the moon, you will see the beauty of God... If you see the sun, you will see the power of God... If you see a mirror, you will see God's best creation. So believe it. We are all tourists, God is our travel agent who has already identified our routes, bookings and destinations... trust him and enjoy life. Life is just a journey! Therefore, live today! Tomorrow may not be. See more

Otherwise, one day you may look back and think of all the ways you could have used the precious time that was gifted to you. #lockdownblues #goaloriented #doitforyou #wearetogether #inspo @holistichealthmelb
13.01.2022 A simple thing to remember - never judge yourself by the expectations of others.

10.01.2022 Just remembered that I promised to tell you what I've been up to This is such a powerful therapy and I'm looking forward to sharing it with you By the way, did you know that you can use the space bar on your phone to move the cursor left-right
09.01.2022 Pooh woke up that morning, and, for reasons that he didn't entirely understand, couldn't stop the tears from coming. He sat there in bed, his little body shaking, and he cried, and cried, and cried. Amidst his sobs, the phone rang. It was Piglet. "Oh Piglet," said Pooh, between sobs, in response to his friend's gentle enquiry as to how he was doing. "I just feel so Sad. So, so, Sad, almost like I might not ever be happy again. And I know that I shouldn't be feeling like this....Continue reading
09.01.2022 What if fear was the portal, the door, through which you must pass to overcome it. If you knew that what you really wanted was waiting for you on the other side of that door, would you take that leap of faith? If you knew that you could create what you want, would you do it?
08.01.2022 You are making progress. That is all that matters. Forget about perfection for that is in the eye of the beholder. Just keep moving forward. Don't look back, you're not going that way.
08.01.2022 Scary thought ... they say that your true Character is what you do when no-one is watching
06.01.2022 "The day my mother died, I wrote in my journal, "A serious misfortune of my life has arrived." I suffered for more than one year after the passing away of my mo...ther. But one night, in the highlands of Vietnam, I was sleeping in the hut in my hermitage. I dreamed of my mother. I saw myself sitting with her, and we were having a wonderful talk. She looked young and beautiful, her hair flowing down. It was so pleasant to sit there and talk to her as if she had never died. When I woke up, it was about two in the morning, and I felt very strongly that I had never lost my mother. The impression that my mother was still with me was very clear. I understood then that the idea of having lost my mother was just an idea. It was obvious in that moment that my mother is always alive in me. I opened the door and went outside. The entire hillside was bathed in moonlight. It was a hill covered with tea plants, and my hut was set behind the temple halfway up. Walking slowly in the moonlight through the rows of tea plants, I noticed my mother was still with me. She was the moonlight caressing me as she had done so often, very tender, very sweet... wonderful! Each time my feet touched the earth I knew my mother was there with me. I knew this body was not mine but a living continuation of my mother and my father and my grandparents and great-grandparents. Of all my ancestors. Those feet that I saw as "my" feet were actually "our" feet. Together my mother and I were leaving footprints in the damp soil. From that moment on, the idea that I had lost my mother no longer existed. All I had to do was look at the palm of my hand, feel the breeze on my face or the earth under my feet to remember that my mother is always with me, available at any time." ~ Thich Nhat Hanh See more
06.01.2022 Happy NATIONAL BOYFRIENDS DAY! Do you have someone special you want to acknowledge? I do. My beautiful husband. We planted footprints in each other's hearts at 17, so deeply that the tides of life have not washed them away, but embedded them even more deeply. You are the wind beneath my wings and I have deep gratitude for such an unshakeable and enduring love. #lovealways #soulmates #bestfriend #alwaysandforever
05.01.2022 Beautiful words, just have to share .... thank you Silvana, it has been a joy to work with you.
05.01.2022 I started this yesterday and it resonates with me on many different levels. Common-sense approach, no hype and a very holistic approach for mind-body-spirit realignment. Exactly what I need! Want to join me?
04.01.2022 She’s 98. And the isolation and loneliness came over her in a river of tears at my visit. Not able to see her son or daughter for 6 weeks. She wants to die.... Because at 98 the waiting is too much. I offered to FaceTime her son. She cried more. She wanted a real hug. I in my PPE said enough. I too bent over into her arms she wrapped so tight around me. I broke the rule. I hugged her till she could breathe. We both had a healing. I’d do it again. Love matters most. The older folks in long term care haven’t been touched or hugged. It’s causing failure to thrive. Hugs are a necessary part of living. - shared from a nurse from a Covid healthcare workers site, because THIS right here is what the world needs to see (shared with approval or said nurse...thank you) See more
03.01.2022 " She seems to find a way To make me feel so out of place She opens doors that face towards the floor I can't seem to find another way... Carry my river I'll watch it flow Unleash my wings and for you I'll grow Put my faith in the unknown There's a place that's paved the way Take the lead don't be afraid Ride the wave Ride the wave We talk from time to time again She now feels like an old friend She asks me how and where I've been Ambling down and through a spin She carries my river as I let her go We trust in our spirit to let life flow And put our faith in the unknown There's a place that's paved the way Take the lead don't be afraid Ride the wave Ride the wave " Have a listen to this and please share if you like it. The lyrics ... soul deep. Her voice ... like moonbeams glistening on the river. Her journey ... one that I am so grateful to have shared as I stand beneath her wings and watch her soar. Love and blessings Alena. https://alenalillie.bandcamp.com/releases
03.01.2022 "Love is the bridge between you and everything" - Rumi. Wise words indeed. On many levels. This world and the next. "Life is dynamic. Everyone is on their own journey. Be grateful for the time you have together. And let them chart their path. True love and true connection always remain..."
