12.01.2022 HIA Insurance Services (HIAIS) was formed in 1984 to provide specialist insurance broking advice focusing on the insurance requirements of the Australian Building, Construction and Tradesmen industry. HIA Insurance Services (HIAIS) is a joint venture between the Housing Industry Association (HIA) and Aon. Aon is the leading global Insurance broker and HIA is Australias largest and only national industry association for the building, construction and trades industry.
10.01.2022 HIAs national conference was held recently on Hamilton Island. Delegates heard from world renowned speakers and industry experts including Mark Bouris. Congratulations to Award winner, Peter Sosso for receiving the Building Specialised Housing award. Presented by HIA Insurance Services CEO David Turner, accepting on Peters behalf was HIA Hunter Regional Executive Director Craig Jennion. The Specialised Housing award is presented to housing or accommodation designed and built to meet the specific needs of aged persons, retirement villages, or accommodation for people with disabilities.
