QLD has now moved to Stage 2 of the Government Roadmap to Recovery from COVID-19, what this means for Swimming pools is that we can operate under compliance of an Approved COVIDsafe Management Plan. ... The Swimming Pool and Aquatic Centre advocacy group for QLD submitted an industry management plan last Thursday for approval by the Chief Health Officer. We are anticipating the feedback over the next few days. We will continue to keep you all up to date as things progress. So check in to our social platforms, the tide is turning! We are cleaning venues and setting up for your return! We are super excited, so stay tuned!

So a big thanks to our fantastic Councils, the QLD Govt, Aquatic Industry Alliance, as well as our CVM team that have been working tirelessly to make sure we will all return safely back in the pool! No Bookings for Group Fitness classes or the gym floor are required! So well done QLD, our strong health response to COVID-19 means we are well positioned for recovery. The Easing of COVID-19 restrictions means, from Friday Midday (12pm), you can utilise the venue assets as you did previously! Contact Tracing details are still required as is Social Distancing, so lets be mindful of each other. We are now working to the Stage 3 management plan, where the increased capacity will be clearly identified at your venue.
