25.01.2022 WSS Round 10 Lismore Speedway A great night for the Team last night at Lismore. Rusty Timed 7th quick in qualifying and had good heat results, 2nd from P3 and 1st from P4. Timed 2nd quick in the Gold Shootout to cement his P2 start in the feature. A fantastic drive in the A Main saw Rusty take the lead mid race and then after several position changes and great racing amongst the top four in the closing stages, the V40 crossed the line in fourth place, was a shame Rusty just m...issed out on his podium finish but it wasn’t through lack of effort, he did a great job! Congratulation to James McFadden on an awesome win, Cory Eliason and Kerry Madsen on their podium finishes. 16.01.2022 World Series Rnd 12 - Bunbury WA Well Lady Luck certainly wasn’t with us last night! After qualifying 14th started Heat 1 from p2, was out in the lead when the left rear tyre blew (we think from debris on the track??) ... Rusty won Heat 2 from pole, this put us out of position 14 in the A Main. Dropped a couple of spots in the hectic start but made his way back up to 10th, then while making a pass rode a wheel mid corner which sent him hard into the concrete wall. Rusty is ok, we’re thankful for his Fibreworks seat and the strong J&J Chassis which both certainly did their job. Car pretty much destroyed but Darren, Rusty and the boys will build another one for the final nights at Perth Motorplex next weekend. 15.01.2022 The CLASSIC 2020 Rusty had a fairly good qualifying night on Friday timing 7th quick in his flight, managing a 3rd and 5th in his heats, then starting from position 11 in the Prelim A, managed to move forward to finish in 8th. Overall was sitting in 14th spot after night one. Our aim for this weekend was to hopefully make it into the A Main on the final night, however with a bad run in the last heat we slipped back in points to start the B Main 1 from position 14, Rusty drov...e a great race to make it up to 6th but missing the last transfer by 2 spots. As disappointing as it was to not quite make the show, all in all a great effort out of 106 cars and against the best drivers from both Aus and the US. Thanks to the crew, Darren (Dad), Frog, Dave and Jett for all the hard work! Also to family and friends for coming along to help and support, an enormous effort all round. Thanks to the Bell family for giving us a home base to work from with the transporter. Huge Congratulations to James McFadden and the Monte Motorsport Team on the win and yet another awesome performance! This as always was such a massive weekend. Thankyou to everyone who came to see us at the Fan Appreciation Day and in the Pits before and after the meetings, Rusty and the team really appreciate it! Our next meeting will be at Esperance WA on Feb 14th for Round 11 of World Series Sprintcars, good luck to all the teams contesting the Australian Title in Tassie next weekend. 08.01.2022 Perth Motorplex World Series final round Timed well and qualified 3rd quick, survived both Heats and progressed from the Silver to the Gold Shootout. Happy to have finished the A Main in 7th on a fast, hooked up track. That’s it for World Series this time round, it’s been challenging to say the least but Rusty and the Team kept at it never giving up, learning and gaining experience along the way and it’’s been a real accomplishment for our family team to have taken on and co...mpleted the series. An immense amount of hard work and a huge number of kilometres travelled. Massive thanks to Darren (Dad) for absolutely everything, also the crew Frog and Dave for their hard work. Huge congratulations to James McFadden for last nights exciting victory and also the Series Win, exceptional by James and the whole Monte Motorsport team. 06.01.2022 WSS Archerfield Aust Sprintcar Open - Night 2 Rusty ran a good Heat race tonight moving forward to 2nd place. This put him up in points a few spots to be starting the A Main from position 10. Unfortunately due to rain the 50 lap feature race was not able to be run. Thoughts are with the injured lad from the wingless crash, hoping he is ok!

05.01.2022 Perth Motorplex World Series Round 13 - Friday 21st Was 14th quick out of 32 cars in qualifying after being 3rd last pair out. Heat 1 - finished 2nd out of position 6... Heat 2 - won this one from position 8! After Rusty’s Heat race performances he moved himself from 14th up into the Silver Shootout, where he earned himself a P5 start in the A Main. With a great car for the final and driving well throughout Rusty was sitting in fourth then blew the Right Rear tyre with under 2 laps to go, severe tyre wear was a problem for many with probably half a dozen blowing tyres in the last 5 or so laps. A really disappointing result in the end for Rusty and the team, that good finish eluding him yet again. Back at the Motorplex again tonight for the final round. 02.01.2022 WSS Archerfield Aust Sprintcar Open - Night 1 After Rusty timing well in 6th position, struggled in the heats and started the A Main from position 12, tagged the wall fairly early on, managed to finish the prelim A in 14th with a damaged car. Have re-grouped and will try again tonight (that’s if the weather permits!) Thanks once again to our sponsors and supporters... 02.01.2022 Australian Sprintcar Allstars, Col Beasley Memorial - Mildura Been a while since our last post, with everything going on with Covid etc the Team had all but decided to take this season off and have a rest, but thanks to Dave Challons providing us with a 360 engine we can run a few of the Allstars rounds which is awesome! Being almost a year since his last race Rusty was looking forward to getting back behind the wheel. He drove awesome all night to come away with overall Qui...ck Time, a 1st and 4th in his Heats and took out the Feature race win (hung on with a broken front wing from lap 8, good effort) Very special to win this race for Col, Karyn and the Beasley Family, close to our hearts and means a lot. Congratulations to Chris and Brenton on their podium finishes. Thanks to the B & S Earthworks Timmis Speedway for all the effort and hard work put in to that great track and facilities, well done to all. Thankyou to Mandy and the Allstars Team, great to be running with you guys again! And to our boys, thanks Darren for your hard work as always. Special shout out to Brayden Parr for travelling up to crew for us and to Declan Adams for the help all weekend. Can’t thank Leigh & Kylie Adams and family enough for their wonderful hospitality all week, we’ve had an absolute ball. Huge amount of appreciation for all our sponsors who have stayed on board with Rusty and the Team, particularly Peerless Products, Camden Signage & Building Services Pty Ltd EasyAs Car Wash and Revolution Racegear even through this last 12 months of no racing for us and all the uncertainty around Covid, to continue supporting us despite all that is fantastic. ALL IN ALL WHAT A BRILLIANT WEEK!
