16.01.2022 Wayne Hickson established his media company HicksonMedia on Australia’s Gold Coast in 1999. He specialises in all forms of media and public relations from corporate to government to major events. Wayne provides press release production, copywriting and media liaison services to a wide range of clients and he is also a part-time tutor and lecturer (Teaching Fellow) at Queensland's Griffith and Bond Universities.... He is also an accomplished sport writer with proven credentials from local sport events through to international level. Wayne has been involved in the press operations of six Olympic Games, five Commonwealth Games, two Paralympic Games and many international world championship events. He was the Program Manager Communication and Media for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018).
