13.01.2022 A couple of weeks ago our Group participants put on their walking shoes and caught public transport into Newcastle Beach! From there they trekked along the coast and all the way to the ANZAC walk! The day consisted of a 5km walking effort that was topped off with some amazing weather! Well Done Boys! 12.01.2022 BIRTHDAY SHOUT OUT Well today we celebrated this lovely lady's 40th birthday! Its safe to say she's had a great day and been very spoilt. A massive thank you to the awesome/talented staff for pulling this surprise party off and making the cake. We are very lucky here at HICSS to have such caring, talented/creative staff. This lady has come a very long away with some challenges she has faced and is smashing her goals! Congrats!!!

07.01.2022 Today we went to Blackbutt reserve and learnt about the animals and explored, exercised and had a great healthy lunch in the park. The group has been super interested in film and movie production over the last few weeks watching and learning how staff put small clips together to make the movie. The group has enjoyed making the movies which they include into their group day activity to make skill development fun. ****Stay tuned for the movie they have been working hard on over the last few weeks and how they did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

04.01.2022 Birthday celebrations today Barry enjoyed his small surprise birthday lunch. Our amazing staff pulled a sneaky surprise for our mad rabbitos supporters! The shock on Barry's face said it all. Thanks to the girls / guys in the office who joined and to the amazing staff on decorating the cake and pulling this off for Barry! We hope you liked your jumper and cake. Mind you we did enjoy a bit of rainbow cake in the office. #covidbirthdaycake Happy Birthday Barry!

02.01.2022 The group have had help from staff putting together a movie. They had to find an activity they wanted to do and they worked together to direct the movie, they got creative and include the staff and created some awesome effects that to everyone looks so real. They got a good understanding how action movies are made and what's involved. Alot of rehearsals and time went into this movie. Congrats group and a massive thanks to Tom for your knowledge on making movies and being our movie creator expert and Jakeob and Kim for starring in the movie. Well Done everyone involved. We might have some future Action Movie Directors.

02.01.2022 The group have been working on movie production and creating a movie, they have learnt how to make the sounds and incorporate into their movie to add character and drama to their movie. check out some sound effects!

01.01.2022 Today the group were put to challenge of working as a team to conquer the staff This involved team building skills under a suspenseful environment. With lights, sounds and adrenaline this team pulled off an upset to beat the staff by 2000 points. Well Done Boys!!!!! Well deserved activity after a hard month of Capacity Building and Skill Development that the group had been working on.
