21.01.2022 Our Perth Brewery Tour is so hot right now! #Repost @the_barcyde with @get_repost @hiddendetours Perth Brewery Tour. : @brighttankrestaurant @brighttankbrewing... The super friendly Gemma showed us around the efficient & impressively clean brewhouse whilst we sipped on their easy drinking East Perth Lager (4%). From there we were treated to some tasty pub fare & a few more beers. Lil' Red Smeg Head Red IPA (3.8%), Hazy Pale (5%) & the interesting Uncle Brett Whisky Sour Stout. : Hazy Pale Ale - the Lemondrop hops gives this bright pale a nice citrus & tropical taste. stop: @blastabrewingcompany I had no idea that the Unicorn is the national animal emblum of Scotland . That is awesome! It's also believed to be the only animal that could defeat a Lion. Not sure which country has a Lion as their national emblum Sparkling indoor & outdoor areas + the urinals are made from old kegs. What's not to love!? After a tour of the brewery with Burrswood Lager in hand, we sat down to a tasting paddle of the Tangerine Dreams Hefe (5.3%), the award winning Chainbreaker IPA (5.9%), MyWay Grapefruit IPA (5.9%) and Son of a Beast NEIPA (6.4%). : Apart from the unimitable Chainbreaker & the Haggis spring rolls, I really enjoyed Tangerine Dreams. Love a good Hefe. This one is great! Beautiful banana perfume to it. Keep your ear to the streets for a new Festbier, Hoppy Lager plus the return of the Rampant Raspberry sour. stop: @otherside_co @othersidebrewhouse There's a cool shipping container café/bar out front with a kids play area, opening up to the brewery & eye catching circular bar. @_beerherenow showed us around the impressive brewery & poured us an extensive selection of beers. The massive silo you see from the street holds 37 tonne of grain! Samples - Core range: Social Helles Lager (4.7%), Festive Session Ale (4.2%), Lo-Fi Citrus Ale (3.5%), Indie XPA (5.2%), Harvest Red Ale (5.4%) & Anthem IPA (6.2%). I had an amazing day out with family and friends in a wine tour if the Bickley Valley in the Perth Hills, driven around by the beautiful Monique from @hiddendetours. I didn't know there was so many wineries out there, having mostly ventured to the Swan Valley. There's loads of beautiful little wineries and cider houses and seeing them on a Hidden deTour is the best way! 20.01.2022 GINgle Bells, GINgle bells, GINgle all the way! Oh what fun it is to ride on a Gin Distillery Tour all day - hey! . . We had a fab time with Mel and her super fun book club pals on tour a few weeks ago. There were book club quizzes and cool prizes on board, as we travelled from distillery to distillery for tasty local gin .

20.01.2022 Our recent Beer chats with Brewers took us to Wangara to have a yarn with South Fremantle Brewing who gypsy brew at Shizuku Brewing Monique and co-hosts @daniel_loves_beer and The Beer Economist chatted to Eamonn and Pete from South Freo Brewing and Jeremy from Shizuku Brewing over a couple of cheeky brews. From humble beginnings six friends started with a passion for home brew. Their kegs featured at local parties in South Freo, where mates encouraged them to t...ake it further than the Chook Shed brewery. They are now gypsy brewing and creating some sensational beers in their core range and odd releases. One thing is clear - how genuine Eamonn and Pete are, which is reflected in their brand and ethos. From the start they were keen to share their story and to inspire others who might be wondering how to transition from home brew to brewery. It’s stories like these we love to share at Hidden deTours! Businesses come in all colours, shapes and sizes; however, it’s their personality that shines through. Thanks for having us guys. 18.01.2022 What a cracker of a Xmas party! We spent a wonderful day out in the stunning Bickley Valley on a Wine and Cider Tour with this awesome bunch of revellers last week. There were crazy hats and hilarious bouts of Rock Paper Scissors over prized Kris Kringle gifts. What a hoot! ... Being a part of Xmas work party celebrations is a real honour and such fun too. We it!

17.01.2022 We kicked off our third Beer Chats with Brewers at Otherside Brewing Co. in Myaree. Venue Manager - Ash took us for a behind the scenes tour of the brewery and provided some insights on how they started, why the name, their arts funding, and the Otherside Beer Tycoons membership! It was then over to Daniel @daniel_loves_beer and new co-host Chris @the_barcyde who chatted all things beer with brewer Rhys. His passion for beer really shone through, as the guys were taken on ...a vibrant guided beer tasting of the following featured beers, plus a sneaky new one: 1. Festive 2. Harvest 3. Indie 4. MBC Oat Cream IPA 5. 2020 Russian Imperial Stout 6. Peach & Mango Summer Sour - collab with Liquor Barons 7. Bubbles IPA - collab with Garage Project Three great prizes were kindly provided by Otherside Brewhouse and announced by our other new co-host Brendan @thebeereconomist. Congrats to the lucky winners. All in all it was a great night and it was awesome to be back again! Thanks to my pal Carma @carmathesocialchameleon on camera too.

13.01.2022 We headed to the Swan Valley to check out brand new venue funk 2.0 for Beer Chats with Brewers. It's the second venue from the awesome crew at funk cider. They are not only making great cider, but beer and wine too! Owner Marty took us for a tour around the new space which previously was the Evans and Tate winery. The gnarly vines are 105 years old and Funk are planning to release preservative free wine in the next 6 months. He also shared his vision for the old wine tanks,... with production soon moving to this new site from the Caversham venue, and a proposed viewing room so punters can view all the action. Brendan (The Beer Economist) and Chris(@the_barcyde) joined brewer Kevin and Marty to chat about their range of beers and ciders. Starting off with the NEIPA, Hazy Mid IPA and Double IPA, they then moved to the new hybrids - Verdelho Lager and Shiraz Stout, before ending on a Pineapple Cider. All in all Funk 2.0 is well worth the visit. The venue is amazing and family friendly, the food is incredible, and the range of beverages are sensational and so tasty!
