25.01.2022 Feel like a hike? The Bald Head walk trail is a challenging 12.5km return walk. Bushwalking experience recommended as the tracks may be long, rough and very ...steep. Located in Torndirrup National Park in the south west it has spectacular views out over the Southern Ocean and you’ll definitely need your camera! 24.01.2022 ALBANY VISITOR CENTRE RE-OPENS From Wednesday 27th of May the Albany Visitor Centre will re-open to the public. Capacity will be managed in line with social dis...tancing requirements and we ask that you take direction from the Visitor Centre staff at this time. The Centre will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm daily and the team are available from 9am to 5pm via phone call. With the long weekend ahead of us, the Albany Visitor Centre will be open from 10am to 2pm on Saturday 30th of May. 21.01.2022 Get excited, folks, because our lakeside restaurant is reopening 11am-4pm daily, from Thursday, the 28th of May. If you're able to travel to our region, swing ...on by with your family and friends and relax by the lake, where you can feast on one of our delicious platters and share a bottle (or two) of our Lake House wines. Due to COVID-19, we do have some restrictions in place for your safety and our staff. As we are only allowed 20 people dining-in at any one time, we will have 2 lunch seatings 12 noon and 2pm. 21.01.2022 Have you climbed Castle Rock? Surrounding the rock is the Granite Skywalk with two lookouts that provide incredible views across the park and around to Albany,... Mt Gardner and Mt Manypeaks and Stirling Range National Park. Reaching the upper lookout requires a bit of scrambling through and over rocks and climbing a 6m ladder! Located in Porongurup National Park in the south west, the Granite Skyw...alk has an upper and a lower lookout with incredible views. To get to the upper lookout you will have to scramble over rocks and climb a 6 metre ladder, so its not for everyone but totally worth it if you can. 13.01.2022 West Cape WOW! Located between Albany and Denmark is West Cape Howe National Park. There's great fishing and a campground at Shelley Beach and it's great spot ...for bushwalking too. 11.01.2022 Spring opening hours update The days have started to get longer, the weather warmer and the springtime blooms are bursting to life in our Wildflower Garden ...- there is no better time than now to explore The Amazing South Coast region. From tomorrow, Tuesday 1st September, our opening hours will be 9am to 5pm daily (last entry 4.15pm). With our Australian Wildlife Park & Regional Wildflower Garden open 10am to 5pm daily. We have a few exciting events planned for spring and will let you know all the details soon, so watch this space.
