25.01.2022 Next month amazing cellist and good friend Jo Quail will be returning to our little town of Dunsborough, two years since she last played for us under the stars... on what was a very special night. We have just secured an amazing location for this one off concert in Yallingup on a beautiful rural property. It is being dubbed the little Leeuwin concert as it does take place on the same night. Just like the Leeuwin concert bring your blankets, or chairs, cheese platter, amazing Margaret River wines and sit back, relax under the stars and immerse yourself in a truly unique listening experience. 11.01.2022 It's been two years since amazing English cellist Jo Quail visited our little town of Dunsborough in the South West of Western Australia and I'm happy to announ...ce Jo will be coming back to Dunsborough for a one off concert under the stars. For those of you who were lucky enough to see Jo play last time I know that you will all be excited about her return with a new album in tow. For those of you who missed out on seeing Jo, reserve your interest early to avoid disappointment. Final details will be shared with you all soon but the date has been set as the Saturday, 7th March, 2015. I think this may be a long weekend so if your coming down from Perth you may need to organise accommodation as soon as possible. We are looking to help fellow photographer Kallam who has... been recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer/brain tumor (astrocytoma glioblastoma GBM). Kallam had been living a full and healthy life before January 27th, 2016 when he suffered two back to back grand mal seizures, which led to several scans and tests for which the conclusion was a brain tumor on the right temporal lobe, which required immediate surgery. The biopsy result concluded the above diagnosis and the treatment advised was to begin intensive radiotherapy for six weeks in conjunction with high doses of chemo therapy. The physical side-effects of this is physical and mental exhaustion, nausea, hair loss and permanent eye sight and hearing damage. Not to mention susceptibility to infections due to low immunity during the course of this treatment, which will continue for nine months. Kallam has had to stop working and in the long term he will be unable to work due to the side-effects of the chemo and radio therapy. He will need to be cared for full-time and therefore will be unable to work also. We are looking to raise funds that will assist the family in covering the medical and living expenses during this period. They will be deeply grateful for any assistance that can be provided to them. 07.01.2022 Pretty excited to be involved in this short film.

05.01.2022 I have travelled to some pretty amazing places over the years filming and I'm hoping to share these experiences with you in the amazing tropical Fiji Island of... Mana. It still amazes me the advances in digital technology and how it's never been easier to create content which is both compelling and of the highest quality. But it's not about the gear, it's about what you can create from your inner emotions. I was not wanting to say heart as that sounds too cheesy. I want to show you how conjuring up the experiences life can deal you can be used to produce emotive, inspiring content. The camera is just the start. What you do in the editing suite steers the film down the path you want it to follow. The way you shoot, the music you select, the grade you place on the footage, all works towards creating emotion, meaning, purpose. Why not invest in three days of learning from not only me (The Video Guy) but an array of talented individuals who are all amazing in there own genre of photography and back it up at the end of the day with a cocktail or cold beer if your like me, maybe a snorkel in the ocean or a swim in the resort pool or maybe hang out with me and do some shooting around the island after all the formal days learning is out the way and join a community of like minded people who live to shoot. 05.01.2022 This is the first workshop I have been involved with for almost two years. If you want to have a great holiday and learn a heap about photography and more importantly video (well at least I think so) then book your place soon. Places are filling fast.
