25.01.2022 It's a bit wet at the farm today! We hope it will clear by this afternoon. If some people wanted to change their picking day till tomorrow (Sunday 17th) just let us know or if anyone is available during the week we could possibly arrange that as well.

22.01.2022 You never know what you will see when you come picking at Higham Blueberries. These two Eagles have been feeding in the paddock just up from the blueberry patch.

22.01.2022 We will be open on Sunday 7th and Monday 8th March for u-pick and sales from the coolroom. The photo shows picking on one variety which is still pretty good. The rest of the picking will be a bit harder but still easy enough to get some nice fruit.

15.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who had a Waratah delivery today. We hope you enjoy them. To get the best out of them cut a little off the stem every few days and make sure they always have plenty of water. Then you should get a good 2-3 weeks of enjoyment.

14.01.2022 Change of venue for this months market. Back to High St. Please take note of the list of requirements set out for attendance at the market. These requirements make the market an extremely safe and pleasant place to shop for essential food items.

14.01.2022 Our Blueberries are nice and blue but still not quite ripe enough for our lovely customers. Keep in mind that Blueberries may be blue but not sweet and delicious. We like to hold off opening our u-pick until we have plenty of easy picking.

13.01.2022 It sure is much easier to attend the Lancefield & District Farmers Market to sell our produce as opposed to travelling a 360 klm round trip to try and keep our little business going in these difficult times. I left Kinglake at 9am and returned home at 5.45 pm and sold 40% less than we would have at the market. A BIG thank you to the wonderful customers who contacted us to order and I felt bad for those who didnt realize the Market had been cancelled and turned up to a vacant market site. Apart from having a chat (socially distanced of course) with some of our customers the other highlight was driving back home through Eden Park just as the sun was setting on numerous beautiful old Red Gums.

At the market we will have hand sanitizer available for our customers, eftpos facilities and areas marked out for customers to wait for service. I also wanted to highlight the difference between our fruit and what is available in the supermarkets. Price wise we have no hope of competing with the supermarkets. The fruit we use for our frozen is very high quality, large in size and full of sweetness. Picked and graded manually to ensure quality and left on the bushes until fully ripened.
