19.01.2022 Introducing the High Country Retirees - Storm & Sharna! Sharna (black horse) arrived in late July 2017 just after the first retiree Mascott, who we sadly lost last year, and is a 20+ year old Quarter Horse cross mare who is the boss lady over her partner in crime and all the cattle, keeping them in line is her job and she takes it seriously! Storm (bay horse) used to be an ex race horse & arrived a few months after Sharna with another TB gelding who we also lost after a few m...onths due to a terrible leg injury. Sharna & Storm have settled in well and are well and truly climatised to the harsh Eungella winters and the warm summer days & remain fat & shiny all year round on the grass alone. They love a scratch and will approach you for a smooch whenever they see you in the paddock. Sharna & Storm will have a home as High Country Retirees for the rest of their days See more
