20.01.2022 A recent close visual facade inspection of a residential/commercial building in Sydney. Using drones to inspect your assets provides a cost effective, safe and high quality solution in understanding the condition of your asset. https://lnkd.in/gPJ4usV

20.01.2022 Detailed image inspection to check for faults on a new build water filtration tank. Using our RTK UAV system allows precise position hold and reduces any interference from the steel structure. #droneinspections #watertank #waterfiltration #dronephotography #dji

18.01.2022 After 3 months of the Shoalhaven burning, the recent downpour has officially extinguished the Currowan fire. Fingers crossed this rain can provide relief to the areas where the bushfires are still burning ... ... ... #nswbushfires #bushfiresaustralia #bushfire #shoalhaven #sussexinlet

17.01.2022 We need to update our reel from 2020 but this is still some of our favourite shots from the Harbour

13.01.2022 Another great application for remotely piloted aircraft completed for one of our valued clients. The internal inspection of a diffuser tank at a waste water treatment plant was completed in a day with high res video files available the following day. This prevented the need for expensive and time consuming scaffolding to be erected inside the tank and gave the client valuable data on the condition of the facades and roof. https://www.highexposure.com.au/internal-tank-drone-inspec/

07.01.2022 Not all aerial maps are created equal. Let's talk about how large elevation changes can affect the quality of your drone survey. Choosing an image overlap ratio and altitude for the drone capture can be tricky if you have differing elevations. If you choose the correct parameters for an area although the elevation lowers, the resolution of the map in that area will decrease. If you choose the correct parameters for the lower area and then see a rise in elevation, the image ov...erlap on the upper area could decrease so much that it's likely the software won't have the data to stitch it correctly. Less than ideal. It's possible to run a couple of different flights at differing altitudes or choose an average altitude and overlap ratio for the area although it can take longer and may still produce sub par results if not executed correctly. This is where using a capture method with terrain awareness greatly assists in improving map quality. Using software integrated with the SRTM (look it up, very cool!) the drone is able to rise and lower with the topography of the area thus creating a consistent resolution and image overlap. 02.01.2022 High resolution 3D model inspections are an invaluable service in understanding the condition of infrastructure. It becomes a powerful tool to allow plans of action to be put in place quickly and an easily accessible source of truth for all stakeholders. #3Dmodel #droneinspection # #droneservices

01.01.2022 Creating a digital twin of a structure for inspection purposes has huge benefits in comparison to tradition methods in terms of safety and data quality. The article below discusses some recent work completed at the Arnotts Factory in which the structure required an inspection to determine the extent of remedial works. A 3D model was provided to the client who was able to easily and safely assess the tower without leaving the office. Take a look at thte article below to learn more about the process to building this digital twin. https://www.highexposure.com.au/drone-inspection-3d-model-/
