05.01.2022 DISCOVERING your backyard. A kim's game is when I put ten objects on a tray, cover it with a tea-towel, then peel it back for ten seconds. You have to memoris...e as much detail on each object. Later I will ask you to describe each object. How well do you know your backyard? Stand on the back landing for one minute. Turn back towards the house. Someone then asks you questions... Joeys: What's a tree? What's a shrub? How many trees? How many shrubs? Cubs: What's a deciduous tree? How many deciduous trees? Scouts: What is a native tree? How many native trees? How many local to the area, compared to state? Venturers and Rovers: Which plants provide houses to different animals?
