15.01.2022 Certificate II Outdoor Recreation Abseiling & Rock Climbing Our Cert II Outdoor Rec students took on Kangaroo Point Cliffs yesterday. Students looked fear in the eyes and performed extremely well. Our instructors were amazed at our students ability and their sense of compassion for one another. They also showed technical skills that are only demonstrated by experienced climbers. Well done students!!!

11.01.2022 CHRISTMAS HAMPER FOOD DRIVE Thank you Bridie, Hannah, Macy and Alisha for your initiative of collecting a food hamper to donate to the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation. Laura Conroy, Grant Smith and Dan Stewart from the Foundation visited HSSC to collect the goods today and were thrilled at the girls' efforts. A big thank you to our school community for your generosity and to these Year 10 students for your empathy and concern for others.

09.01.2022 RUGBY 7S Congratulations to the U13 and U15 boys who competed in the SCOTs Warwick Rugby 7's Tournament on Saturday. The U13 boys team won their 3rd v 4th playoff final to finish 3rd overall for the day. The U15 boys team made the Grand Final, but lost to Downlands to finish 2nd overall for the day. A huge achievement for both teams on a warm and physically demanding day. A massive thank you must go to Mr Weller for his efforts in the lead up to the carnival and on the day!
