25.01.2022 HOT DOG ALERT! As the temperatures begin to increase its important to remember to check your pets are staying cool. Here are some tips on how to keep them cool! ~Ensure they have multiple bowls of water and are kept in a shady area... ~ Add ice cubes to water bowls to cool them down ~ Freeze treats in water icy poles to encourage them to drink more ~ Ensure they have lots of shaded areas to get out of the sun ~ Avoid walking during the middle of the day or on hot surfaces such as roads, concrete and sand. Also look out for signs such as excessive panting, drooling, vomiting, diarrhoea, looking distressed. If you notice these signs please contact your nearest Vet clinic and begin to cool them down with a cold water rinse and wet cold towels. See more
