Government funded flu vaccines for our patients aged over 65 have also arrived. Government funded flu vaccines are expected by mid April for: all children from 6 months to less than 5 years of age... pregnant women all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over individuals aged 6 months and older with medical conditions which increase the risk of influenza disease complications With COVID-19 [coronavirus] spreading across Australia, this year it is more important than ever to receive your flu vaccination. Whilst influenza vaccine will not prevent coronavirus infection it can reduce the severity and spread of influenza, which may make a person more susceptible to other respiratory illnesses like coronavirus. 12.01.2022 The team at Highgate Hill Doctors are very happy to welcome Dr. Catherine Swanson, who will be acting as a locum from Tuesday 14th November - Thursday 5th December 2019 while Dr. Michael Naue is away. Dr. Catherine is broadly experienced and loves all areas of general practice including womens, mens, and childrens health. Similarly to Dr. Michael, her special interests include musculoskeletal problems, minor trauma and skin cancer surgery. She is currently doing a weekly GP attachment to Prince Charles Orthopaedics Department.
