A 2YO colt from the Snowden yard, RULE OF LAW was having just his second trial when he let down nicely late to take out Heat 5 (1045m) under the guidance of Tommy Berry - who was in a celebratory mood after posting his 100th winner for the 2019/20 season yesterday. The promising RULE OF LAW was a $450,000 Inglis Easter Yearling graduate from the Highgrove Stud draft and races in the familiar red and yellow silks of China Horse Club. THRONUM was a multiple winner at 2 himself and a Stakes Winner at 3 (when piloted coincidently by Tommy Berry), before taking out the Group 2 Australia Stakes and running a close second in the Group 1 William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley. A stunning bay by Champion sire SNITZEL (102 SWs) and from the family of STREET CRY (131 SWs) and SHAMARDAL (146 SWs), THRONUM is a true blueblood and we look forward with great anticipation to his first yearlings hitting the major sales in 2021!
