18.01.2022 Big day tomorrow in the Highlands for food lovers. First there is Crop and Swap with Pi Wei Lim at Robertson outside Rockabella Cafe - 9 - 10am. Followed by the... 10th Anniversary of the Moss Vale Community Garden of which I am a member - we love what they do. That starts at 12 midday. I have to leave at 1.30 to go to a fermenting class with Naturopath Sara-Jane Cleland in the afternoon which I am really looking forward to (see you there Jeannette Burniston) and FINALLY we are off to Avoca Hall at 6.30pm for a Pop Up Dinner with Scarlett Runner. Two Sydney chefs are putting on a pop up meal in the hall using seasonal, local fresh food - including vegetables from Moonacres Farm, milk from Bill Smillie of Highland Organics, meat from Mauger's Meats and Katrina Sparke of Redleaf Farm and more. I love the community halls dotted across the Highlands and it is great to see the committee of the Avoca Hall supporting this venture.
