23.01.2022 Highland Reserve State School would like to wish all students, staff, parents, families and community members a safe and joyful holiday period. We wish all of our Year 6 students the very best at Secondary School and look forward to welcoming everyone else back to Highland Reserve State School on Wednesday, 27 January 2021. Happy Holidays!

23.01.2022 As communicated late last year, we are on the waiting list for the State Government to complete the remaining air conditioning installation throughout the school. This is a huge state-wide project which we are extremely fortunate to have done for us at no further cost. It is expected that our installation will happen this year, with dates to be confirmed in the near future.

23.01.2022 Last week the Vocal Excellence Group recorded a Christmas song for the Channel 9 Christmas Carol segment. Our young superstars will be aired on 9 Evening News tonight.

18.01.2022 Thank you again to the Gold Coast City Council for their sponsorship of our new bike enclosure near the hall.

18.01.2022 Over the holidays a number of school improvement projects have been completed in readiness for the 2021 school year. This includes: - cleaning of all carpet areas throughout the school - new carpet installed in all Prep classrooms - new carpet installed in the Lighthouse - internal painting of all C Block classrooms... - new softfall in playground areas It is also a great opportunity to thank our grounds and cleaning staff in advance of the huge effort that will go into cleaning and tidying the school in preparation for day 1.

07.01.2022 The students of HRSS enjoyed watching our virtual Talent Show today. Students were able to cast their vote during the day and our live announcement aired across the school this afternoon. Congratulations to Miranda and Edie, our 2020 winners of the Junior and Senior Talent Show respectively. Congratulations also to all students who made it to the final. Well done!

01.01.2022 Congratulations on a wonderful day celebrating our Senior Athletics Carnival. A fabulous day was had by all and we are incredibly proud of how the students participated today.
