Historically the Townsville City Netball Association canteen has been volunteer-operated as a service to our members offering drinks and... snacks, on most competition nights. While this has served our members well, we feel it is time for a change. We acknowledge the importance of a sporting association Canteen, so we’d like to explore exciting opportunities such as expanding to offer healthy, nutritious meal options and take away options. Our priorities remain to offer this service to the netball community, minimise risk to the Association and increase revenue for our Association and we’ve love to hear your ideas! We are actively seeking a Canteen Manager and several volunteers for the Canteen in 2021. The Canteen Manager role involves managing stock, preparing and collection of goods, menu selection and sales. Volunteers are required to assist by serving at the counter. During carnivals the canteen will be operated by the TCNAI Fun Squad, a group of current and past members who love getting together at carnivals to offer this service. The Fun Squad are always looking for new member who are willing to help a little or a lot. For more information regarding any of these opportunities, please contact [email protected].
