Please call if you have any questions - 9409 5000. Immunisations and other essential services will go ahead, but we need to change our strategy on how to proceed with these. We will update as necessary but for now, please use Hot Doc to book or phone us directly. Anyone that presents at the pract...ice will not be allowed to enter unless previously advised. Chiropractic services will continue but please phone the practice to discuss this arrangement. We thank all our doctors, staff and patients for helping in these difficult times. Stay safe. Isolate. We may be apart, but we are united. See more

15.01.2022 For online bookings, please go to Hot Doc and create an account. Health Engine is not working at the moment. We will be switching to Hot Doc completely in the very near future.

15.01.2022 Telehealth Appointments We would like to advise we will be asking some of our most vulnerable and at risk patients to schedule a Telehealth appointment instead of attending our clinic. If you are already scheduled to see one of our Doctors, a member of our clinical team may call you to see if you are comfortable with a phone consultation.... On 13.03.2020 due to COVID-19, Medicare via the Federal Government introduced bulk-billed telehealth item numbers for practices to be used for patients who fall into the following categories: * People aged over 70; * Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged over 50; * Parents with new babies and people who are pregnant; * People with chronic health conditions or who are immuno-compromised; * People isolating themselves at home on the advice of a medical practitioner, in accordance with home isolation guidance issued by the AHPPC, and people who meet the current national triage protocol criteria for suspected COVID-19 infection after consultation with either the national COVID-19 hotline, state COVID-19 hotlines, registered medical or nursing practitioner or COVID-19 trained health clinic triage staff. People in isolation or quarantine for COVID-19 can see any eligible health provider through new telehealth items. Patients in the above vulnerable groups can additionally see a health provider via telehealth for any matter if they have seen any of our doctors at least once in the previous 12 months. So if you fit into the above categories, please phone us on 94095000 to arrange a telehealth consult with your usual doctor. Alternatively, for patients who do not fall into the above categories, Telehealth visits are NOT claimable from Medicare, so we have now introduced a fee for a standard consultation should you wish to have one. This will be $50. This fee will also apply to those who we would normally bulk bill if you do not meet the Telehealth bulk billing guidelines and you request a phone appointment. This can only be scheduled for appointments that do not require a face-to-face visit. For simple consultations such as a prescription renewal or referral, a fee of $20 will apply with no Medicare rebate claimable. These will be payable prior to your consultation.

13.01.2022 With all of the updates and constantly changing environment we thought we would give you an update on services available at the practice. You are still able to consult with a GP, Nurse and member of our Allied Health Team, although we will be practicing the social distancing regulations as much as we can. You should book a telehealth appointment online via Hotdoc or call the reception team as normal for your GP. The nurses and Allied Health practitioners will call you ahead... of your consultation to get some details relating to your health. Your GP will also contact you via telephone initially, however may use another means to view any symptoms you may have or may ask you to arrive in person to the practice. We ask that you come alone or are assisted by one person as we are trying to reduce the traffic through the practice at this time. When you arrive in the car park you should give us a call so that we may direct you to the appropriate waiting area. You will enter and exit via that door and will not be in any other part of the building. We have set up some outdoor waiting areas, near the rooms you will be consulting with your clinician. There is a reception area at the door near the pharmacy where you can chat with our receptionist and collect any items or paperwork you may have ordered (medical certificates, prescriptions, referrals etc). Our main priority is the safety of everyone at the practice including our patients. We have increased hygiene routines and have PPE on site for everyones protection, should you need it. There is also hand sanitiser throughout the building. Our services continue to run at the usual time: Mon - Thur 7am - 7pm Fri - 7am - 6pm Sat & Sun 9am - 5pm We would like to thank you for your continued support, patience and understand throughout this confusing time and we will continue to update you in this way as and when our situation changes.

13.01.2022 Our Over 65 years Flu Vaccination Clinic will commence on 7th April. Please give us a call if you would like to receive your free government flu shot.

12.01.2022 Just because we’re fighting a pandemic doesn’t mean other health issues stop. If you’re unwell at the moment, or have any health issues which need addressing, ...you should still make an appointment to see your doctor. Over the last two months, the number of people accessing health services has fallen significantly. We all know that dealing with something early is best, so if you have a health issue, don’t put off that trip to see your doctor. I can assure you that it's safe to do so, and appointments are available. Many clinics are doing video or phone appointments as well as in person consults. But as usual we will continue to ask that if you have symptoms of COVID-19 (like a fever, cough, sore throat or difficulty breathing), please call ahead first or visit a COVID clinic if there’s one in your area. If you’re feeling off, don’t put it off.

11.01.2022 We want to let you know our Australian Clinical Lab Pathology Collection Suite is operating as normal. However they have relocated to a new room with an external door so that you may enter and exit without coming into the main part of the building. All patients entering the building are screening prior to coming inside and only patients deemed as low risk will be able to enter inside. We have reduced patient traffic drastically in an effort to keep everyone safe from the th...reat of COVID 19. We also want to reassure you that all staff are making every to increase their hygiene routines. All equipment is disinfected after each patient visit and any clinician with face to face contact with a patient will be wearing PPE. Hand sanitiser is available for everyone to use. Dont put off having your vital tests done, give us a call today.

03.01.2022 We Stay Here For You, Please Stay Home For Us Are you hoping that conversation goes well with your boss where you ask to work from home as you suffer from asthma? Are you concerned about not being able to see your mother or grandmother in the nursing home for the next few months or ever again? ... Are you worried about sourcing childcare in anticipation of potential school closures? Are you anxious that youve only just been treated for cancer and what this means for you moving into the future? Please appreciate that our practice staff and health care workers are not immune to COVID-19 and, share your human struggles. We are also faced with very real risks alongside an inability to source toilet paper on our one socially distanced outing for the fortnight. This week we have made the challenging decision to transition the structure of our practice in light of this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. This decision was not taken lightly, nor was it driven by fear but rather motivated by upholding our responsibility in ensuring your safety. We are transitioning to a predominantly tele-health based clinic with provision for co-ordinated physical consultations, and dedicated clinics for vaccinations and essential procedures/reviews. Our priority is to first do no harm and to provide the best service possible medical care during this current climate.
