24.01.2022 The renovations are finished and we are open for business. We would like to say a huge thank you to David Lea from Aedifex Building Solutions, Greg from Mercury Installations and Ben from H3 Plumbing for doing such a great job. A thank you also to our wonderful clientele for your patience and finally thank you to Master Ryan who tolerated a week of late feeds, missed sleeps and being constantly dragged in and out of the car. 23.01.2022 Finally our salon renovation is finished.

23.01.2022 With so much being said about Coronavirus currently circulating the internet it is hard to know what is accurate and what isn't. We would like to assure all our customers that we are doing everything possible to ensure that everyone, staff and customers, remain healthy and virus free. All chairs and surfaces are being cleaned with hospital grade disinfectent between customers. We will temporarily be using disposable cups for tea, coffee and water. All equipment will c...ontinue to be sterilized as per our usual practice. Upon advise from the relative authorities we are also removing all mazagines and are in the process of sourcing hand sanitizer for customer use. Likewise we ask that anyone with an appointment who is experiencing any cold and flu symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough, headache or unusual fatigue, especially if you have recently returned from overseas, kindly reschedule your appointment for when you are feeling better. 10.01.2022 A message to all our wonderful customers from Sheralyn. These are indeed very unusual times and each day brings us more government directives to abide to as conditions deteriorate. It has brought out the very best in some people but unfortunately the very worst in others. As an asthmatic Danica falls into the high risk category. Unfortunately all the disinfectant that we need to use is having a very negative effect on her health and her asthma is worsening. On top of this... she has a very active 17 month old son to care for. Danica is quickly becoming run down and exhausted. Most of you will agree with me that over the last almost 11 years Danica has put her heart and soul into our little business and has always put her customers first. This morning she was abused by a customer over the phone because she couldn't be given the appointment time that she wanted. This is not the first time she has been abused in the last week. This is unacceptable and for me the straw that broke the camel's back. As the owner of the salon it falls upon me to make the final decision. I am not prepared to risk the physical nor the mental health of my daughter any longer. After discussing options with Cara, she has also stated that she would prefer not to be working in such close proximity with others. After all she is also a wife and mother. As such I have decided to close the salon for a short time, with last day of trading Saturday 28th March. I realise this will be a huge inconvenience to many of you however I take my responsibility to my staff and their families very seriously. Please remember a few grey hairs or dark roots will not kill you. COVID-19 could and for Danica probably would. I thank you for supporting our business in the past. Without this we would not have survived. We will endeavour to keep you informed of our plans as much as possible and we hope to see you all again in the near future.
