19.01.2022 How we continue to accumulate accessive amounts accessories, clothes, cosmetics and homewares will forever remain a mystery (unless you look at your transaction history of course). Total mystery. This can be problematic for more than just your bank account, especially if you live in a small apartment. Before you know it, you run out of space. You could literally be the old woman who lives in her shoe. If your things are taking over, and you can't bring yourse...lf to part with them, we are here to help with these five clever storage hacks. 1. Hang baskets and small bags on a pegboard. This is perfect for organising your makeup, brushes and jewellery. Even place one at your entrance for your wallet, keys, sunglasses and headphones. 2. Spice racks can be used for more than just spices. Use a spice rack to organise your nail polish, lipstick and essential oils. 3. Place velcro on the backs of your remotes and stick them to the side of your entertainment unit. Tidy, organised and you will never lose the remote again. 4. Glue small magnets to the backs of tweezers, compacts, and makeup brushes. Either purchase a magnetic board or just stick them on a magnetic surface in your bathroom. 5. Hang your bathroom products on your shower screen or curtain rod using hegs. Hegs are hanging pegs and they will change your life. Well, they will make your shower less clutter anyway.

19.01.2022 As Coco Chanel says, An interior is the natural projection of the soul. Your decor shouldnt just be a collection of things you love, but a reflection of who you are. Have you ever thought about what your interior styling choices might be saying about you? Throw pillows ... Throw pillows signify that you want your guests to be comfortable. You are a welcoming and gregarious host. Having a lot of throw pillows says that you want your visitors to settle in, stay a while and get comfortable. Want your office to feel more inviting? Try adding some throw cushions to your chairs. Additional seating. Having more seats than what you need says that you are social and enjoy entertaining. This also applies to extra bench seats in kitchen spaces and office spaces. Having extra seating is welcoming. This makes people feel comfortable and at ease when entering your home or office. Bare countertops. Having tidy, uncluttered or bare countertops which arent being used to store appliances or display decorations, may mean youre a little type A. Do you put your kettle in a cupboard after each use? If so youre probably competitive, highly organised, ambitious, and maybe a little impatient. This can also apply to bathrooms, living rooms or bedrooms. If you rather things be hidden away than on display, chances are youre probably a little type A.

08.01.2022 Are you already dreaming about the weekend? Running out of activities to do? Here are some of our favourite things to do in Melbourne over Summer! 1. Watch a movie No, we don't mean 'Netflix and chill' style. We mean in gold class (so fancy) or at the Moonlight Cinema in the Royal Botanic Gardens. Is there anything better than watching a movie under the stars with some wine, cheese and a picnic rug? No, we didn't think so.... 2. Lounge on the beach An obvious fave. The best part about summer? The sun stays out for so much longer, meaning you can have a romantic walk or date on the beach after work...winning! 3. Have a feast at a night market We don't know about you but being spoilt for choice in the food department is not an issue. The Queen Vic Night Market and the South Melbourne Night Market are our two faves. 4. Go to the tennis A Melbourne summer tradition. The Australian Open runs from the 15th Jan - 28th Jan and is the perfect place to sip on a glass of Jacobs Creek while watching the pros make us all look bad. 5. Have a bevvie at a rooftop bar What's better than a drink with friends? A drink with friends with a view! Up the ante at your next get-together by having drinks at a rooftop bar. Our go-to's are Siglo, Loop Roof and The Rooftop at QT. Tell us your favourite things to do in Melbourne!

04.01.2022 We are all for some good styling tips

03.01.2022 Who starts a new diet at the beginning of every year? Have you already surrendered and bought a pack of hot cross buns? Us too...we're blaming the supermarket No but really, how many times have you said to yourself "new year, new me...this year I'll eat more veggies and exercise every day". Did you know that over half of us will abandon our New Year's resolutions by June? Thankfully, the gang at Collective Hub have written an awesome article on turning around resolutions and slaying your health goals. Check it out below! Now, if you'll excuse us, we're off to meditate and eat a bowl of delish veggies!

03.01.2022 Good lighting is the key to so many things, productivity, waking up, a good selfie, it's all about the lighting. Finding your light isn't always easy, so we're put together a few tips to brighten up your day. Get creative. ... This is great for all of you renters out there. You can pick up a packet of white twinkle lights for pretty cheap nowadays. A small string of these little babies can completely transform your room. Be strategic about how you place them, don't just haphazardly throw them around. Try a string over your bed head for some reading/mood lighting or above your desk. Go for blinds instead of curtains. Decor-wise curtains can look outdated unless you're going for a Victorian style thang. Blinds are a more modern option that let far more natural light in, in the AM and keep it darker and more private in the PM. Be strategic about where you place our mirrors. We won't go into detail about the laws of refraction, because, yawn. But, in simple terms, placing a mirror beside or across from a window significantly increases natural light. Fun fact, this can also boost your mood! What are your favourite lighting hacks?

01.01.2022 We know how to Friday feast

01.01.2022 We are firm believers that a cup of tea makes everything better. Feeling sick? Have a cup of tea. Skin breaking out? Cup of tea. Tired? Sad? Angry? Tea. Boyfriend acting up? Pour a cup of tea on him. It is truly magical, the only issue is choosing what which kind to drink. ... Here are our favourite types of tea for morning, afternoon and evening. Morning: White tea. White teas are light flavours and contain less caffeine than a black or green tea. We'd recommend them in the morning with breakfast as they will give you a caffeine boost, without causing any internal discomfort. Afternoon: Black or green tea Black and green teas are usually high in caffeine so they will give you that extra energy boost to make it to 5 o'clock. Green tea is also great for your metabolism so you will be energized for the rest of the day while enjoying some added calorie burning. Night time: Herbal teas Before bed try to avoid any teas with caffeine. Either opt for a decaf green or white or a go for a herbal tea. A calming lemongrass and ginger or mixed berry or other herbal blends will help you to relax, calming your mind and easing any internal discomfort. v
