17.01.2022 Today my (Rachel's) two worlds collided as a violinist and image coach. The gig was to play about 8 different violins for Eastman Strings for their website vid...eos. I could coach myself through styling preparation using my 10 years of colour & style experience, THEN draw on 35 years of violin playing! All the decision-making that goes into choosing what to wear, how to do makeup and hair used to feel SO hard for me. 10.01.2022 Day 4 stepping through the Eastman violins - here I am playing an excerpt from a favourite piece by Italian composer Vittorio Monti, called "Czardas". Pretty sure I first learnt this when I was 14!
