10.01.2022 To all our alpine area and snow sports fanatics Like you, we are passionate and crazy about our resort and counting down in anticipation of the 2020 white seaso...n. However, the situation before us with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is unprecedented and presenting some new challenges that most of us have never had to consider. The resort, together with the other alpine resorts, our industry partners, stakeholders and government agencies are committed to taking on the advice of the health authorities in the interest of public health and to see the return of our great Australian way of life as soon as possible. As always, our priorities are to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of our community, staff and visitors. The resort is continuing preparations for the coming white season. Recruitment activities are underway, maintenance of our snow sports areas is continuing, new equipment is arriving, we are making significant environmental and efficiency improvements to our aged generation assets and stocking up on toilet paper. We can guarantee there will be snow (once we turn on the Snow Factory), but what we can’t confirm yet is what our season will look like in the pandemic environment. As for the rest of the green season, as at the time of this post, it is business as usual. We are still a wonderful place to come and enjoy our fresh air while you hike through the bush or ride a bike along our trails. The only difference is the social distancing that will be practiced across the resort and the take-away only service from our food and beverage venue. Like most businesses in the tourism sector, we now need to be more agile than ever. We thank you for your understanding as we navigate the many complexities, priorities and unknowns before us. As our plans for the months and season ahead develop we will continue to keep you informed. Please continue to follow the latest and best advice from the health agencies. Stay safe and healthy. We look forward to seeing you in our beautiful resort soon.
