24.01.2022 Today at High Peaks Physiotherapy I had a visit from my favourite little helper, who came in to; 1. Borrow some of Aunty Rach's theraband for a ninja headband. 2. Let me know it is only THREE sleeps until Christmas! ... High Peaks Physiotherapy will be closing on Wednesday 23rd of December and reopening in the New Year on Wednesday the 6th of January. In this time, online bookings can be made via the booking button on both the website (link in bio) or Facebook page. I wish everyone the happiest time with loved ones over the Christmas and New Year period where ever you may be. Stay safe, and I look forward to seeing you in 2021.

22.01.2022 Okay ladies and gentlemen - it is so incredibly important that we are all breast aware! In Australia, even with full implemented mammographic screening program, more than half of breast cancers are diagnosed after investigation of a breast change detected by the women or her doctor. I can not emphasize enough, the importance of learning the normal shape and feel of your breasts! This will allow you to detect unusual changes and report this to your doctor. Early detection is ...the key to saving lives! Signs to look out for can include: - a lump, lumpiness or thickening of the breast. - a change in the size or shape of a breast. - persistent or unusual breast pain. -discharge from a nipple, rash of the nipple or change in shape of the nipple. - changes to the skin of the breast such as puckering, dimpling or a rash.
