24.01.2022 Mile High Merino will be at the Leura Harvest Festival this Sunday where our brand new lace weight and 4ply yarns will be making their debut. Come along and say hi and check out some fabulous new colours. We'll be at stall W17 from 9am.

15.01.2022 Firstly, a huge apology to all our Castle Hill Farmers & Fine Food Market customers for us not showing up at the market on Saturday. We just finished shearing and were exhausted and, we didn’t have enough meat for the market so decided at the very last minute to give it a miss (and a big thank you to Polly and the staff for your understanding). The reason we didn’t have enough meat is that the Alexander Downs abattoir at Kurri Kurri lost one of our cows. Our efforts to asce...rtain how you loose a 400 kg beast were met with we take no responsibility. We did manage to establish that someone had been attempting to draft in an outside, wire fenced yard, in the dark when the beast jumped out before they refused to answer any more questions. No apology, let alone any mention of compensation. That’s pretty poor effort from a company that states animal welfare and quality control as their values. Our business relies on the trust you place in us to ensure animal welfare and integrity through every step of the process. The lack of care and accountability for workplace safety, public safety and animal welfare demonstrated by Alexander Downs means we cannot, in good faith, continue to assure our customers that we have confidence in our supply chain. We will no longer be using this processing facility and are currently investigating other options. We will keep you posted.

12.01.2022 Sincere apologies to all our Castle Hill customers but we won't be at Castle Hill Farmers & Fine Food Market tomorrow. We will be at Blackheath on Sunday.

10.01.2022 It's taken a little while to get logistics sorted but we will have beef and lamb available again in May. We are taking orders for beef and lamb packs this week. Pick up dates are Saturday 11 May at Castle Hill Farmers & Fine Food Market and Sunday 12 May at Blackheath Growers Market. Deadline for orders is Sunday night - 28 April. 04.01.2022 We are still working on arranging another abattoir to process our beef and lamb but haven't managed to organise things in time for this month's markets. We won't be at Castle Hill Farmers & Fine Food Market on Saturday, 13 April or Blackheath Growers Market on Sunday, 14 April. We are hoping to have everything ready for May so, fingers crossed, we will see you next month.
