22.01.2022 Hi everyone! Tomorrow at Messy Church, it's Countdown to Christmas! In a fun, Christmas themed session we'll be looking ahead to this exciting time soon to be upon us, making Christmas cards, tree decorations, advent calendars and nativity dioramas and more, along with yummy Christmas cookery! We will also be focusing on the family service for Christmas Eve, so anybody who wants to take an active part in that please make a special effort to come so we can start looking at roles for the nativity play. As always, we will also be sharing dinner so invite everyone to stay and join us for this. If you love Christmas, you're sure to have fun this Messy Church, 4pm this Sunday 24th November at St. Paul's, in the hall. Cheers, Matt

18.01.2022 This Messy Church, October 27th, show your creativity as we design our very own boardgames based on the story of Moses and the escape of his people from the wicked Pharaoh in Egypt. Most of you already know this exciting story from past sessions and when we watched the movie Prince of Egypt, but there will be a refresher for those who don't. Working alone or in groups, you will be able to design your own game based on any aspect of the story, from the terrible plagues to the ...escape through the desert to the dramatic parting of the sea! All materials will be provided; use a pre-made board template or design your own from scratch. Use dice or make your own spinner. Decorate the boards! Add cards if you want. You make the rules, Messy Game Designers of all ages! Then join in sharing your games with everyone else, before sharing a special pizza and chocolate icecream dinner! Please let me know if you are able to come, so we have an idea of numbers, and please try to be there as close to 4pm as possible, so you have enough time to finish your game. As always, we will be in the church hall. Cheers, Matt See more

09.01.2022 Moon Mission at Messy Church - Sunday 28th July This month the world celebrated the Apollo 11 moon landing, when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to walk on the surface of the moon, or indeed walk anywhere that was not the Earth! But what does this mean for us today? This Messy Church at St Paul's, we take a look at that amazing achievement, and how it reflects on our place in this giant universe we are all a part of. Celebrate and reflect with fun space...-based activities, including imaginative moonscape crafts, rocket science fun, Lego constructions, our own planetarium and more! After craft, there will be music, a short talk and celebration time in the church, followed by dinner which will be provided. Please stay and share food and fellowship with us if you can; it's a great time to bond and share. We've had some really great Messy Church fun this year so far (from circus games and cooking to Lego and sports challenges), and we look forward to seeing you all there for another fun-filled time! Please feel free to invite or bring along family and friends; all ages are welcome. As always, we start at 4pm in the hall at St. Paul's Church, Frankston. And remember: in space, no one can hear you... except God! Cheers, Matt
