25.01.2022 High Technology Control recently worked with one of our customers to trial an ABB Laser Level to assist with issues they were having related to the current radar and ultrasonic sensors they were using on site to detect the level of plastic powder in their silo tanks. The old sensors were removed and replaced by an ABB LLT100 Laser unit which comes with high accuracy and long range. Included in the package was an adaptor kit to work with current flanges, dust protector and swi...vel flange to focus the laser close to the centre. The results exceeded the customers expectation and very satisfied with the trial, they ordered LLT100 laser units for all 24 of the tanks on their site. Each tank will consist of 2 laser and 2 oscillating sensors to detect full and empty tanks as an additional safety precaution. Learn more here: https://www.hightech.com.au/

21.01.2022 Launched in 1999 with ABB ACS600 Variable Speed Drives that are still performing well to this day. We are looking at providing assistance and ongoing support to the Engineering Team. Thanks to the Chief Refrigeration Engineer for his valuable time.

21.01.2022 High Technology Control was invited to inspect an existing PFC unit at Wangaratta Hospital and advise on whether the existing unit was adequately sized. During this visit, it was observed that the existing 450kVAR was in operation, however, several fuses were not installed. The interior showed signs of age, dirt accumulation and the Maintenance staff was not able to produce any record of maintenance carried out on the PFC unit. It was recommended by the High Tech Service Man...ager to determine the site Power Factor by reviewing the Hospital’s most recent Electricity bills. Upon review, High Tech confirmed the existing unit was adequately sized but in need of some TLC. The PFC was recommended for immediate service and was successfully cleaned and inspected with the necessary fuses being replaced. A further proposal to have the unit serviced annually by High Tech was also approved by the hospital. The hospital is also currently considering a quote for a 100kVAR PFC to replace an un-operational PFC currently on site. For more info visit our site: https://www.hightech.com.au/

13.01.2022 Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) High Technology Control (HTC) is proud to announce that we were awarded the contract for the supply of Variable Speed Drives (VSD) for this distinguished project by the mechanical contractor AE Smith. RHH is Australias second oldest hospital, established in 1804 to service the local community. RHH moved to its present location in 1820.... The $689M redevelopment has been designed to deliver an excellent level of health care to the current, and future generations of Tasmanians. The project was managed, and secured by our Victorian State Manager (Ben) who was involved in the initial discussion about motor control and power quality, and how to deliver this requirement to the client. HTC is a 100% Australian owned company providing Engineering Services to the Electrical, HVACR Mechanical, and Medical Segments within this great country.
