23.01.2022 Some progress photos from making the mk1 escort front bubble arches fit the 1/4 panels of the Anglia It was definitely a challenge but we got there in the end There is a lot of shape in the front of the arches for the escort bumper pressing and they are quite round The 1/4 panel closest to the door jam doesn’t have a great deal of shape to it So it was fun trying to get the two shapes to blend into one... We also had to work around the tyre travel from the great job the owner has done fitting the independent suspension The arches are fully welded to maximise strength The last photos show the beginning of the inner sections which ties the inner 1/4 boot floor to the arches Justin See more

22.01.2022 2006 xr5 focus in for a makeover Going by some pictures and discussions of what we wanted to achieve, This is the end result! The focus came in with some very weathered paint and quite a few car park dings Once we striped her down fix all the dents and re aligned the front bumper to sit where it’s meant to, it went to Mirror Image Spray painting for paint The boys at mirror Image worked some magic with the restyling!... The body is the factory 3 layer pearl electric orange, the body stripe is gloss black and flow coated down the sides to seal the strip in the paint The bumper centre’s are gloss black too, but the light covers in the bumpers ,wheels and rear spoiler are a metallic grey with the wheels cleared in satin gloss and the rest is high gloss clear They also so tinted both tail and head lights to give them a sort of Smokey / darker look. This looks the best at night Stoked with how it came out! Scroll through the photos to see the before pics -Justin

22.01.2022 Just thought I would share the progress photos on working out this tunnel section The is about 80 percent done The finishing touches will be made when we come to cutting it in and welding it in place The customer gave us the shifter location that he wanted We then worked out the clearance of the gear box in section so we could see everything ... Once happy with it, we tig welded it up -Justin

21.01.2022 Nice little repair on this 200 sx We had to refit and repair the aftermarket side skirt Super happy with the result

21.01.2022 Mk1 mini still going on the metal work These photos show the 1/4 panel section repairs with the new tail light panel The inner A pillar mocked up with the outer part and tied into the fender... This took a lot of time and patience as none of the new parts fitted on the car but we got it eventually Looking forward to finishing the other A pillar so we can do the final welding of all the panels -Justin

17.01.2022 Another land cruiser in for the roof/ front window aperture rust to be fixed We had to make the outer front section which is part of the roof skin . Once this was made we could cut the rusted one out . Now we have access to the upper section of the front frame / cross member we could cut out the affected area and put new metal into the frame and the lower lip which is part of the window pinch weld Unfortunately we see a lot of rust in these areas But this one is good as new with its fresh paint as well

17.01.2022 We express our gratitude to all the men, women and animals who served for us in the past, and those who continue to serve for us today. Lest We Forget

14.01.2022 Some progress shots of another reverse cowl bonnet After laying out the scoop and marking it out We then cut out the marked area and boxed up all the frame sections Then re epoxy primed the metal Next step is to fabricate the lip to finish the back of the scoop ... -Justin

13.01.2022 For those who have been on our page for a while, you may remember a few years ago we had the privilege to do the rust repairs on this stunning genuine matching numbers SLR5000 Well now she’s finished! A credit to her owner, another survivor back on the road!... This was a huge team effort to get her to this stage, take a look through the photos below to see some of the restoration Massive shout outs to; Matt and Glenn at Mirror Image Spray painting for the super straight body work and flawless paint work Daniel at Vision TrimShop for the gorgeous interior (he even managed to source the last of the original material for this car!) Nate at Primal Creations for completing the tough challenge of putting her all back together So proud to have been a part of this build -Stacy

11.01.2022 This gorgeous old girl was originally just needing a tiny bit of body work and a new paint job but unfortunately during the paint removal, we found a huge amount of bog hiding extensive rust So off to WA Sandblasting she went to take her back to metal and expose the rust. Lots of rust repairs and body work later, she was ready for Glenn at Mirror Image Spray painting to make her look shiny and new!... Love the colour combination the owner chose, there’s not many 63 Compacts around looking this good! Thanks to Nate from Primal Creations for the help getting her fitted up -Stacy

05.01.2022 Another land cruiser in for some rust repairs These photos show some of the metal work so far But unfortunately Facebook limits to 10 photos per post We repaired the fender as we couldn’t find a second hand one in better condition and couldn’t justify buying a new one ... Nice to only have to rebuild a section of the front window aperture instead of the whole section Can’t wait to see it in colour Justin

05.01.2022 The mk1 mini front floor pans came out a treat Super happy with the progress so far on this build

04.01.2022 Super happy with the result on another land cruiser Usual rust in the front window aperture Lower fender and some in the body chop. All repaired with our hand made parts and fully welded in Awesome paint work again from the boys at Mirror Image Spray painting ... -Justin

04.01.2022 The test profile and someone else’s mess Mk1 mini door frame restoration

03.01.2022 Nice to see the GQ patrol coming together -Justin

02.01.2022 Some Hq boot floor and inner quarter repairs The Rare Parts floor was a good fit but didn’t cover all the rust So we fabricated the parts that where needed to tie in with the outer 1/4 rust repair sections from Rare Spares Justin

02.01.2022 Some more progress on the mk1 mini The front inner hinge panels where replaced with Reproduction parts that where an average fit . We where able to work it out and get them sitting nicely and married up with the outer hinge panel, plenum corner panel and fenders We also fabricated some new support brackets from the inner rear wheel arch to the boot floor and got them welded in ... Just need to check the fuel tank to it’s bracket then we can do the final fit and welding of the back taillight panel It’s quite satisfying to she the old girl coming together
