25.01.2022 Hi Families, Most recent announcement............ restrictions lifting from MIDNIGHT saturday (21st) so you can all return as normal next week. PLEASE NOTE, if you have been sent for a COVID-19 test we must have those results back BEFORE your child attends and IF your family are specifically still under instructions from SA HEALTH to quarantine/self isolate please do so. Please also take note of the changes to dropping off and collecting children if you are an essential worker and your child will still be attending. 19.01.2022 National recycling week was celebrated last week. We have been busy using recycled materials in different form of art and craft experiences. We made shape collage using scrap paper and painted fireworks for Diwali festival using paper towel roll as paint brushes.

14.01.2022 We have been lucky to receive some great new toys this week including some exploration blocks. These are natural blocks with eyes, rattling pieces and kaleidoscope lenses in them for us to explore. Judy also gave us some beautiful bracelets to investigate, we have been wearing them, rolling them, stacking them and enjoying looking at all the small details on the drawings etc. that are decorating the bracelets. Brydee looked very carefully at all the bracelets with little flowers drawn on them, Elijah tried to wear as many as he could on his arms and Olivia enjoyed threading the bracelets onto the pegs and handing them to her friends and educators to have a look at and join in her game.

08.01.2022 Hi Families, With this latest Covid cluster we have been delayed in getting out our end of year celebration information. Unfortunately this year will look very different, but we will celebrate in a different way, please see the attached poster for details and invitations are ready to be sent home as of today. PLEASE NOTE: following SA HEALTH gov instructions at this time means that this may change at any time and we may need to cancel the invitations to join us for a meal time during this week but rest assured we will continue to celebrate with the children and make this a fantastic week for them regardless...... If you are able to join us for a meal please collect your invite from one of your child's educators or reply to the invite sent via email by WEDNESDAY 2nd December so we can cater for you on the day :-) Jess & Team Highway

05.01.2022 We are back to again practicing social distancing due to the COVID-19 cluster on our community. Seth was washing his hands and singing washing washing hand song. During group time the children are sitting 1.5 meter away from their friends, also in sleep time we are guiding the children to top and toe on their beds to keep a safe distance whilst we sleep and follow social distancing.

04.01.2022 With today being such a hot day outside we have been creative with frozen paint. Ted made grey tones, Evan, Wilyam and Logan created bright rainbows. Jed has abstract art. Octavia make square prints.
