Each We've Got Your Back Champion is sharing their journey with the hope of helping others. This is Bodie and Rachel's story. We’ve Got Your Back provides face-to-face mental health and wellbeing support for rural people from the land in Far West NSW, with trained Champions of this program drawing on their lived mental health experience to engage in genuine conversation and listen with intent, provide advocacy on the needs of those impacted by drought, link people to appropriate services, and go places that other service don’t. Funded by the NSW Ministry of Health. This is not a crisis suicide prevention service, for crisis support please call 13 11 14

13.01.2022 I'm very proud to be managing the "Tough Enough?" project within the Narrabri Community. This project has involved a multitude of workforce mental health/mental illness training sessions, community and sporting group training on how to look after your mates, a Youth Mental Health First Aid, weekly editorials in the newspaper and bringing an array of awesome partners with incredible expertise to the community including Rural Adversity Mental Health Program - RAMHP, Tomorrow Woman, Tomorrow Man, Gotcha4Life, and Narrabri High School. This is not an issue that we can afford to ignore. The emotional wellbeing of children is just as important as their physical health.
