07.01.2022 A message from studio founder @tomkinneen on our response to COVID-19: I'd like to personally share with you our thoughts on the Coronavirus and the precautions we have always taken, and continue to do so, for your health and wellbeing. I wanted to start by sharing with you a view from Associate Professor Sanjaya Senanaayake, an infectious disease specialist at Australian National University who advised the Sydney Morning Herald today that gyms remain "low-risk for COVI...D-19" Secondly, Ben Fordham (Radio 2GB) interviewed NSW Chief Medical Officer, Dr.Kerry Chant and asked "is it safe to go the gym?" Dr. Chant's response was "yes" The health & wellbeing of our members, staff & coaches is HIIT45s top priority - it is in fact our business. While the overall risk in Australia of contracting the COVID-19 in the community remains low, we're taking a number of steps to enhance your protection before, during and after your session HYGIENE 101 On entry and exiting HIIT45, customers must use hand sanitiser No Towel - No Train. Our benches, weights and studio are sanitised after every session Reception is sanitised after every round of check-in Hand sanitiser and hand wash is made freely available throughout the studio SELF QUARANTINE If you are unwell with a fever, runny nose, cough or cold please do not attend the studio until the symptoms have cleared; If you have had contact with anybody who is being investigated for coronavirus please cancel your sessions and wait two weeks before returning if you have no symptoms; If you have travelled from any of the at risk countries listed on the www.health.gov.au website in the last two weeks, please do not attend classes until two weeks after your return; We will continue to monitor what is best for our community over the coming days and weeks and will communicate as necessary.
