23.01.2022 I've been a little bit quiet with personal/jokey posts on my page over the last few months - thats because sadly, my beautiful mum passed away about 10 weeks ago from a stroke which she never regained consciousness from. Its all a bit of a blur, but at the time I was just about to start an epic month of Christmas Mini Sessions so I decided to use work as a distraction, to give me focus. Seeing all your beautiful smiling families helped soothe my sadness, and somehow made it easier to deal with the loss. Thank you all for helping me at that time, even though you didn't know that you were. I have shed a few tears this Christmas, as it was my first Christmas without her. Today would have been her 85th birthday - I miss her but I'm so glad I had so many years with her and so many wonderful memories.
