24.01.2022 This week we had the privilege of photographing the graduating students from PAWS Performance Art Western Sydney ahead of their end of year concert. Working with Rebecca and the rest of the super talented team at PAWS has been a highlight for us over the last 3 years. Last night’s show was sensational and we’re so very grateful for the chance to work with talented performers like these.

Events are our favourite kind of photography and big community based events like this are just the best! The gang from PAWS Performance Art Western Sydney rocked and the Ball Room at St Marys Band Club - The Bandy looked fab! Thank you to Lucy, Holly, Luke and the LPF team for asking us to be part of this awesome night!

16.01.2022 Want a great sunset photo? Try something a little different. Shoot from an unusual angle (in this case, the waterline) add something to the foreground like foliage, a boat if youre near the water, or maybe some rocks if youre shooting bush landscapes just something to create movement for the viewers eye. In this shot the ripples on the water, and the reflection of the setting sun, do nicely.

12.01.2022 Tonights sunset was epic! As the sun got lower in the sky, Mt Agung (on the left of the image) became more visible. Yes, that IS smoke coming from the top, its still very active and closed to climbing because of the high activity levels. Shot using an fstop of 18 to get a starburst from the sun, there is lots of depth to this pic.
