21.01.2022 Congratulations to all students who competed in the Futsal Competition today. 5 out of 6 HRSS teams placed first or second. Thanks to Mr Dwyer and Mr Askew for their coaching of the teams. A great result!

21.01.2022 National Science Week @ HRSS In their enthusiasm to nourish their silkworms as part of their new science study on life cycle changes, 2BK students have depleted our school mulberry tree. This precious tree now runs the risk of becoming denuded of leaves in our efforts to satisfy those ever growing hungry silkworms. Our school groundsman, Steve, met with us to discuss the problem. We came up with a plan. He will play a vital part in our food chain and source mulberry leaves from the nearby public walkway and deliver them to us! That will give our struggling tree a chance to recuperate. Thank you Steve.

12.01.2022 Last week, Year 1 students celebrated their positive behaviour choices by creating and enjoying a cardboard arcade. They even earned ‘money’ to purchase entry tickets. What a wonderful way to integrate Maths, social skills and fun. So many smiles!

12.01.2022 Our fabulous Fish Creek team are holding a working bee at school this Sunday 13th September 9am - 12pm. The aim is to put trail mix (gravel) down on the ne...w creek path to make it safe for the students. We need as many people, wheelbarrows and shovels as possible, for as much time as you can spare. There is 5 cubic metres to spread and many hands make light work. Covid briefing on arrival - no sharing food, sanitiser for hands and tools, closed shoes essential (including kids). Kids are welcome - only catch is they must be accompanied by hard working adults! Contact us if you need more details

08.01.2022 UPDATE: Next two games girls had a win and a loss, older boys had 2 wins, and the younger boys 2 losses. Final rounds coming up now Best of luck to Mr Askew and our Soccer Squad who are competing at Aspley today. At the halfway mark, our 2 boys teams have won 1, lost 1, and our girls team has had 2 wins. Go HRSS!

08.01.2022 All 3 teams made the semis. Our girls lost semi in golden point extra time. So very proud of all students. A huge thank you to Mr Askew for bringing soccer to HRSS.
