24.01.2022 Morgan and I had a great time today riding Ralphy and Jazzmin together. We are practicing a pas de deux. 21.01.2022 We had a great day at #DJWTS. Diamond Dancer did a great test in the PSG Cup for a 5th and a great score of 68.8%. Looking forward to the freestyle tomorrow. Phoebe and Jazzmin did a amazing test in the Aachen Challenge to come equal 3 rd, but unfortunately lost on a count back, and getting 4 th, so not in the finale tomorrow. 09.01.2022 It was a pretty big weekend for some of the riders from Hill Cottage Dressage. On the Saturday Phoebe rode Kirsten Steels Jaybee Cherub (Carbine) at Juravon Park Equestrian Centre. It was the first time out for Ruby in over a year, and first time Phoebe competing her. They did a great job to get a 2 nd 68 % and 7 th 64% and 4 th overall in the championship. I rode Baunehojens Diamond Dancer (Don Diamond/Florencio 1) to a win in Int 1, with 69%. So please with this beauti...ful stallion. He just keeps getting better every time. On the Sunday at the VDC comp at Werribee. Christina with Bonifaas RDH( Santano/Petrouska) competed in the Grand Prix, and did a good test for a 3 rd with 61.3% When they get a bit more experience under the belt at this level, they will be a strong combination. . I rode Jazzmin (jazz/Rocardero) in her first ever Grand Prix. Got 60.5% Lots to work on, but was very pleased with her. Tanya Grieve was also out on Firenze Firfood in the medium getting a 2nd 68% and 3 rd 64%. Also with a bit more experience they will be up there Great job done by everyone Thanks to Phoebe and Mel for making both my horses look amazing. 08.01.2022 So very proud of my young student Bella Plumridge and her gorgeous pony Illawong Harvest Moon(Harvey). Together with Bella’s mum Adele, they ventured up the the CDI in Sydney , where they competed in the CDI-P with Harvey. They had 3 classes to compete in and they won all 3 classes with great scores. . Amazing result Bella and Harvey. Not been an easy road with Harvey, but you kept going and got an amazing result. Big congratulations and cant wait for the next chapter.

07.01.2022 Last day at the PSI DJWTS for us. It was a long day, as we had a practice at 7 30 am for our music and our test was 8 30 pm. So a bit of sleeping during the day . Finally our time came, for our first freestyle, and Diamond Dancer was great. He was a bit overawed by the atmosphere, but tried his hardest to come 8 th with a score of 66 %. So very pleased with it overall. Congratulations to all the other competitors, it was a very strong class this year. Big thank you t...o Phoebe and Lori for being super grooms. Phoebe had Dan looking amazing every time., even if she was riding jazzmin too . Was so proud of how well she did with Jazz , and handled the disappointment of not getting in the final. 06.01.2022 Another great day at Victorian Dressage Championship. Conditions very pretty tough, as it was very hot and windy. . Luckily the organisers started the comp 2 hours earlier, which was great. Baunehojens Diamond Dancer was a star in PSG(thanks to Werribee Isuzu and Longvue for sponsoring the class) and placed 2 nd with a 69.6%. Was very happy with him. Also competing was Amy on Louie in the PSG pony section, and they did a great job, in hot conditions for a win with a PB of... 66.76 %. Well done Amy. Thanks to the organisers for a great comp in very trying conditions. They did a great job.
