24.01.2022 We often get asked why our meat is so delicious and our product is second to none. Well it’s all about farmer Eddie and his passion and knowledge of farming right here at Hillock Downs. Mother Nature at its best is why our meat tastes amazing as we produce acres of lucerne paddocks which the cows graze in all year round. Farmer Eddie lucerne paddocks are high in nutrients and is the king of the fodder. You can only purchase our meat from our on farm produce every Friday and Saturday where you get to meet us the farmers and really understand the back end on how our beautiful cows are raised with love and respect. .we welcome phone orders and deliver weekly to the morning from peninsula area only.

08.01.2022 The farmers wife favourite cut king rib eye love anything cooked on the bone it’s gives such an incredible flavour and tastes so delicious. I pan fry my rib eye 5 minutes on each size then into a fry pan with my hillock Downs beef tallow with fresh herbs then straight in oven on high for 10 mins then rest the meat for 5 minutes. Always a winner in our household.
