25.01.2022 Hey blues fans...its been awhile since I graced this page but thought I had better get "in ya face" and let you know not all is lost. Due to our ongoing venue issue we have missed a couple of opportunities we would normally have grabbed with both hands. So in the spirit of the journey that is the "Hills Blues Club" I have begun the search once again for a suitable venue to deliver "quality blues to the blues community"... Moving forward, I will be working towards a couple of intimate shows in the not so distant future...possilbly a Sunday Session with a selection of local talent...hand selected by yours truely...stay tuned...

19.01.2022 Hey fans of blues...we have some good and bad news. We will still be sending a representing band to Bridgetown in just over a week however it wont be "Michael" as originally intended. Unfortunately Sam Michael has injured himself and wont be well enough to take the stage. We genuinely feel for the members of band Michael and wish Sam speedy recovery, but the show must go on as they say. So we are pleased to announce the inclusion this year of a fresh bunch of lads with a sound that takes us straight back to those 70s pub days with soulful guitar solo's and killer vocal tones...may we introduce..."Ezra Tide" to fly the flag for Hills Blues Club...look out Bridgetown...

19.01.2022 My absolute favourite solo artist out of WA, Tracey Barnett is hitting the stage of the Bassendean Hotel on the 29th December. If your at a loose end or need a stimulating break from Christmas festivities may I suggest you get down there and enjoy the magic that is Tracey Barnett...you wont be disappointed...

12.01.2022 Our band "Michael" got a last minute spot at Scotts Tavern...90mins of funkin blues...very freakin cool. I aint kidding when I say Reggie Michael is a pocket rocket vocal power. Stunning voice...killing it!!

07.01.2022 Well with only a couple sleeps until showtime..."Blues at Bridgetown' is nearly upon us and our representing band this year "Michael" are keen to hit the stage for the Hills Blues Club and deliver their amazing sound to the masses. Word on the street is Two Dollar Dog are looking to get Michael up for a couple of songs at Scotts Tavern. Which I think quite frankly...will go off! Do yourself a favour if your in Bridgetown this weekend for the blues, make sure you see this act...worth a look...

07.01.2022 If you havent already heard fans of the Hills Blues Club...we're sending local band "Micheal" to represent Hills Blues Club at "Blues at Bridgetown" again this year. Got some great feedback last year but they missed the line up this year. After much discussion we decided it was important to send this crew back into bat for us and deliver their fresh slice of blues to the blues community...details to follow...

06.01.2022 Well...just to touch base with anyone still interested. Hills Blues Club were getting ready to fire up again with a couple of intimate shows but a certain pandemic put a definitive hold on that. But the artists we had contacted are still obviously interested in continuing with us when this crazy state of affairs returns to normality. So we're looking towards doing to shows hopefully early summer with a return to our "Summer Series" but focussing on solo artists in an intimate venue. As we return to the business of entertaining again, I will confirm artists and venues...stay safe...
