17.01.2022 4 KEYS TO INJURY RECOVERY One of the key ways to recover from injury is good education Thats why i sit down with every patient I see and we map out care on a whiteboard So my 4 keys are to understand 1) the anatomy of injury and what has been torn or injured... 2) pain and stiffness -how the body reacts to injury 3) what we can do to recover and the choices in modalities and care 4) homework. What can you do yourself. ^Like^ this if youve seen me before and benefited from the whiteboard coaching.

06.01.2022 Displaced finger fractures are common injuries from sports such as tag football, AFL, bastketball and netball. They are also common from dog bites, and equine (horse) handling. The skin traction technique uses tape applied to the skin and other methods to reduce fractures that would otherwise require surgery. Movement is commenced within the first days and assists faster recovery.
